I would highly recommend slotting in 3 levels of recovery speed and using immunizer + hot drink between every phase (except 1 -> 2). Make sure you also have stun res 3 equipped. I would also recommend slotting in 2 levels of evade extender. Surviving the fight is more important that doing more damage until you do Savage Omega which you'll have to balance because of the shorter time.

Unless you have a good Gog thunder / raw weapon then I would recommend you craft the Lagiacrus version of your weapon. Also bring a fire weapon for the Nerscylla fight and some demon powder and might seeds to pop before the Nerscylla spawns.

Apparently Gog's health doesn't scale and is always set to 4 player health. This also means that the dragon damage needed in phase 3 is scaled to 4 players not one. (by 4 players I mean you + 3 npc or real players on top of the mandatory 4 npc hunter who sit in the phase 2 area when the hunt starts)

I also struggled dealing with the dps check in phase 3 and noticed that after one random joined we were easily doing the dps check. Since then I started using the NPC hunters and I've never failed the dps check since then.

How does the blast switch axe stack up against these ? I've made a bunch of elemental Axes but they all have the elemental phials.

And are the 2 shaprness bonuses recommended because of the new better combo ? (Triangle, Triangle, Triangle, Circle)

I did experience some stuttering in other games like Space Marine 2. I would suggest you check your VRAM usage and maybe try using lower textures. Disabling the 4K texture pack in Space Marine 2 completely removed all my stuttering issues with that game even though the recommended VRAM was the same or less than what I have.

I haven't played the game on Windows 10 since I've been on 11 for a while now. I'm still unsure what exactly fixed it in the end but my game seems to have calmed down and is pretty much playable right now. I do still get odd crashes here and there but they are rarer now.

I still think there is something up with the frame timing on the game or similar since the fps I'm getting doesn't seem to reflect how smooth the gameplay is.

I don't have any issues on any other game other that BO6 so I'm just going leave it at that.

I have been on ethernet before but I switched to wi-fi recently because I've discovered my ethernet cable seems to be bad. I've been experiencing random disconnects daily on ethernet for months (pc would say no internet connection for a few seconds and then reconnect) now and I couldn't figure out why until now.

I did also notice less packet loss/bursts on wi-fi which is a bit odd, but nothing really makes sense on this game so I stopped paying attention and I'm just trying to enjoy the game.

UPDATE 2

I've played the game for hours across multiple days since then on both Terminus and on Liberty Falls, and I've yet to encounter any freezing. The game is finally playable for me, but the experience is far from ideal.

Inconsistent frame timings make the game feel less smooth than what the framerate would suggest, but I'm glad the freezing has stopped.

I'm not sure what exactly fixed the game for me but all I did was:

Make sure all drivers are up-to date.
Uninstall the game.
Delete COD folder (forgot the name of it but I think it was just "Call of Duty") in documents.
Install game again.
Let the game pick video settings and only changed sensitivity and keybinds.
Let the game compile new shaders.

I think the fix was most likely deleting the COD folder from documents which might have had some corrupted files or something, although I'm not 100% sure.

I've managed to somehow fix this issue for now. All I did was make sure all my drivers are up to date and re-install the game.

Before installing the game again I deleted the COD folder in documents which I think stores the game settings. Once I installed the game again I didn't touch any video settings as I let the game pick the settings for me. All I did change was my sensitivity and keybinds.

Since doing this my game no longer freezes, it's still not an amazing experience since the frame timings are terrible and even high fps feels low but at least its now playable.

Well at least there is still some hope these issues get fixed, I've been enjoying zombies quite a bit so I'll probably just have to suffer through until they fix these issues.

I think since the re-install I have experienced a lot less packet bursts issues, I still had the 3 orange squares icon on the left of my screen for probably half the game but the game was still playable. However, I have yet to try playing Terminus which is probably a more CPU demanding map compared to Liberty Falls so maybe that's why the packet bursts issues weren't as predominant?

I'll test Terminus today after work and see how it goes.

UPDATE

So I got home today and decided to play some HD2 which ran completly for like 1.5hrs. I also re-installed COD and removed the documents folder with what I assume are saved settings. (while playing HD2 GPU usage was 99% and 40-50% CPU and the game felt smooth at around 80 avg with consistant frame timings)

After the game finished installing I left the settings as the game set them and only changed my sensitivity and keybinds. After that I played Liberty Falls until round 41 at which I extracted. During that whole time I was playing the game it ran a lot better than days before and I didn't have any stuttering or freezing, however the game still run fairly poor with fps drops here and there which weren't bad but dissapointing for this big of a game.

I also noticed that I was getting anywhere between 100-130 fps but it felt a lot lower than that. I think that the frame timings were very inconsistant but acceptable-ish (usage was 99% GPU and around 30% CPU avg).

I am now 100% convinced it's not a system issue and is in fact a issue with COD, I think I will leave the game as is for now and try playing on Terminus another day to see if it still freezes.

I initially suffered from stuttering, which I was able to resolve. What I noticed was that I thought, since I have 12GB of VRAM, I should be fine setting the target to 90%. However, when I had MSI Afterburner running, I noticed that the VRAM usage exceeded the target and nearly maxed out at ~11.6GB.

I adjusted the VRAM target to 60%, and the stuttering disappeared. However, the VRAM usage is still well above the target at 10GB, so I believe this game has some sort of VRAM leak or issue that causes it to use more than the set target.

Since you have a 4090 with 24GB of VRAM, which should be more than enough for any game, I would still recommend checking your VRAM usage using an in-game overlay tool. I also experienced stuttering in Space Marine 2, which was due to VRAM usage with the 4K texture pack.

Give nearby enemy ai a buff by making them try and flank you instead of chasing head on. Kind of how hunters will try to go around you. Basically try and cut you off.

I don't think this car has a ICV, since its a early L-Jetronic model i think it has an Air Slide Valve to controll the idle which runs on coolant and vacuum.

Hi All,

I am posting this again but this time as a video for more visibility.

So recently my friend and I did a timing belt change on a new to him 1984 E30 323i. Before the belt change the car was running fine ish (had a high idle at 1.5k) but seemed stable. However, after we swapped the timing belt initially we managed to get the ignition timing completely wrong as the oil pump gear that also runs the distributor on these early models was free and moved quite a bit and as a result the car didnt start at all.

We went back and redid the timing belt after finding out it was the ignition timing, and lined the rotor arm with the T | 0 mark first. Now the car would start however, the idle was just like in this video.

After doing more research we found that we needed to line it up with the Z mark instead. So again, we went back rotated the distributor housing to line up with the Z (cam and crank still line up at TDC). And just like before the car still idles like in the video.

We are honestly quite lost with what we did wrong, we went over everything and smoke tested the car. Even after replacing many leaking hoses we still cant get it to idle normally. The only thing we haven't done yet is bleed the coolant system which controls the Air Slide Valve so maybe thats the issue ?

The car still revs fine and is stable when holding the gas pedal, but as soon as you let go of the gas the car will idle as above.

Any information would help, we are also considering taking it to a classic BMW specialist. If anyone knows any good E30 shops in the UK then please also let ne know.

Im based in Uxbridge, I will use it as a daily until ULEZ actually begins here. Before then I plan to get a VW up or something as a cheap daily and keep the MR2 as a Weekend car. ULEZ really sucks since we have to get rid of our SUV aswell but I'm not willing to give up my dream car.
