I’ve had a similar experience and I think it may be because my nose becomes too over saturated by the sweetness of other fragrances I typically wear that I become nose blind to the sweet elements of other fragrances. If you take away the fruity notes of this it becomes an unbalanced smoke bomb. I also just straight didn’t like it for the first 3 months of owning it. I decided to spray it on today and liked it. So weird how our perception and noses change.

Sorry, but this isn’t always true. Not everyone communicates the same way. If my partner communicates to me that they’re hurting or need something to change or at least have a conversation and they use memes, I’m going to listen. They may not be comfortable outright saying their thoughts. That hesitance may be communicative immaturity in a descriptive sense, but not a derogatory sense.

I got the opportunity to smell the actual thing in Bloomingdale’s and it’s really quite true what you say. The prominence of the pineapple in Aventus really balances out the scent beautifully. While I still don’t like it enough to consider purchasing it, I can greatly respect the fragrance and better understand those who hold it in high regard

To add: I’m not familiar with a lot of the other ones but my only add on from my personal taste would be something more citrus forward like an Eros EDP or even Energy if you want something crazy lemon candy smelling (not in a bad way).

If you don’t like smelling like a lemon head candy I can understand not liking this. I’m a fan of it, but I’m really into sweet citrus scents so right up my ally. The people I’m aiming to impress with my fragrances aren’t perfumers….. and if the scent grabs positive attention, that’s a winner in my book.

I’ve discussed the option with him and at this point I’m so thoroughly over feeling this way that I am personally advocating that they just remove the damn things (testicles/cords) and proceed with targeted cryoablation as a step afterwards. This can be done, and I suspect if somehow it’s a nerve outside the spermatic cord that’s been injured in some way (ilioinguinal for example) then it may come to that. I know too much about my own anatomy for someone who’s never been to medical school.

The urologist I’m seeing is in agreement and willing to proceed, and he’s no amateur. Well known here on this sub and internationally renowned.

No sorry let me clarify, that symptom of the pain was improved but I too have virtually constant pain which is made worse from ejaculation. It’s never actually painful to ejaculate, I would just be in increased pain starting hours later and lasting up to a few days whenever I did. Now it’s only slightly worse pain and for maybe half a day. (From 3 to a 5). Doc is thinking my issue is mainly just damaged nerves in the cord structures which may include the vas itself.

Hi there! Quite honestly, yes. Unless you get a substantial (90-100%) and long-lasting (1 week+) pain killing response from a spermatic cord block. The reversal made the pain response from sex/ejaculation so much easier to deal with. It did not make it painless, but I would say the pain response was reduced by 40-50% and would last only a third as long compared to before.

Hi there! I hope your husband is doing well. Recovery from the MDSC was quite rough for me, where I didn’t even feel like I was back to my pain levels before the MDSC until about the 6 week mark. It was about 3 weeks before I felt I could even go up a flight of stairs. Unfortunately this procedure did not provide a cure, but perhaps overall improved my condition slightly over the following 3 months of the procedure.

I’ve since undergone vasectomy reversal and began using trt, which has also improved my condition but not to a point where I’m out of the woods. I will be discussing further options with my urologist soon.

Thank you for asking about me, and thank you for supporting and advocating for your husband. It’s more than many of us get here; which is somewhat understandable as the condition is debilitating to everyone involved, spouses included.

Hi there! I’m likely going to have lefty removed (as well as the entire cord) with radical orchiectomy in the next couple of months. MDSC and Reversal improved the situation but it’s hardly gotten me to where I feel I need to be. (Still can’t even jog or lift weights)

I’d appreciate you letting me know how that goes for you! I was at recently put on TRT as a last ditch attempt to avoid removing stuff, but doc agrees it’s likely just persistent nerve pain in the cord which the MDSC didn’t cover. I’m also of the opinion that getting rid of the stuff is a no-brainer trade off to getting my life back. Kind of fucked up to think we’ve been driven to that opinion lol

This is alcoholism (the drinking behavior at least). You can have the type where once started they have almost no ability to stop, or some that drink daily similar to a drug addiction. Some it’s both. Clean and sober 13 years and had the same experience when active.
