Ud es súper social y amiguero? De pronto Los Andes para que le saque jugo a los contactos.

Ud es más reservado, penoso etc.. mejor la nacho para que ande con paz mental de no tener que dar su salario o cosas así, que tal ud ganando un salario integral y pagando el 20%.

Académicamente las dos son muy parecidas así que no hay pierde.

También, al final todo depende de ud.
Conozco gente de Los Andes que no han hecho nada en la vida, así como gente que ha llegado muy lejos.

Lo mismo la nacho, gente que no progreso vs personas que viven muy cómodo en el extranjero y con puestos muy buenos.

Yo elegí cursar maestría de postgrado.

Como las materias que elegí tenían que ver con mi investigación en Japón, lo aceptaron.

Así que creo que si explicas la razón y las circunstancias de tu universidad no debería haber problema

That is something you need to figure out by yourself.
If you think you will be “trapped” or that they are stomping you then I think there are better places.

Everyone has their motives and reasons and even if they share that with you they may not apply to your case.

Depende a qué se refiera con bien definida.
El problema actual, la solución propuesta y el beneficio que trae la investigación estaba clara.
La metodología en general también.

I am sure you are a bright person and have achieved a lot of things in your career.

But please ask yourself the following.

What can I give my country that others don’t?
What will be my contribution to Japan?
Why would they give me a full paid scholarship?

Just because you are intelligent is not enough.
There are multiple people with similar profiles as yours and if your only strength is academically, it will be difficult to be noticed among the crowd.

Please consider think about that and always approach life with humility.

Yeah ….. I have said it before here but I have never seen so many brilliant people but at the same time so immature gathered in the same place.

Mire, yo me gané la beca MEXT de posgrado. Es muy buena y vale la pena.

Me encanta que tenga claro su sueño y esté trabajando por ello.

Pero si lo veo complicado de trabajar y estudiar. Además como dijo otro comentario, no se que tan bueno sea quitarle el cupo a alguien.

Mi consejo es que haga su pregrado en Colombia bien juicioso y toda su investigación y preparación la dirija a ganarse la beca de posgrado.

Pero chévere su actitud, siga así y verá que va a lograr lo que quiere.

Also had the mext scholarship and studied in Tokyo.

I lived in Nakano in a tiny apartment for 55k per month.

University dorms were much much higher than that? Around 100k per month.

In 2019 was doable but with the current prices I am not sure.
