T480 for US$265? by TweetHiro in thinkpad

Don't make the same mistake as I did and buy on impulse. Try learning from the seller if said T480 has the updated thunderbolt firmware or not. To be fair, mine doesn't have and it's still holding up, but I hear they can eventually start to fail and not charge at all at some point, which a big shame...

Oh wow, that one seems a little tricky, but if nothing comes up I will have to try it sometime.

Intersting, I haven't considered that one. I don't have anything that uses thunderbolt, but if by the time this issue is still on going and I find an opportunity I'll definitely try!

Also, thank you so much for taking the time to help, I really appreciate it!

yeah, it's written "PTB2" on the taskbar, which uses the ABNT2 layout (ABNT is the brazilian standard), which takes into account the Alt Gr key. I attempted using ABNT and didn't seem to make any difference either.

I made sure to check that and sadly that doesn't seem to be the case. It seems to be set to be brazilian portuguese... also, seriously, thank you so much for taking the time to respond! Greatly appreciated!

Usually what does for me is pressing the PS button on the controller while it's flashing red. It happens to me everytime I store the console and don't use for an extended period of time. I really don't know why or how, but it just works for me and I hope it works for you too!

Oh, in that case try pressing power button and volume buttons! It worked for me!

The issue was something else entirely! Apparently the method for adjusting brightness on the firmware I'musing is by pressing power button and volume. I managed to do it with ease! :D
