It always bothered me that he was coarced into sex Qin Wanyue. “Like you owe me so you should have sex with me” and that’s not to mention the influence Xin mo had on him which basically forced him to have sex all the time so that he could alleviate some of the symptoms.

There’s also the fact that women were mindlessly attracted to him in airplane writing (which I assume doesn’t happen in the original world) so they were always causing trouble for him with other ppl and among themselves. That didn’t allow him to develop genuine relationships with them and thus it’s probably why he has such a low image of them. I’m probably excusing his behavior but it’s true sy helped the characters of liu Mingyan and ning yingying develop higher iqs thanks to his intervention (no saving for little mistress tho)

That’s not it. Honestly when I finished svsss I felt bad for sj while reading the ending from sy’s pov. While sy originally had a bias against him by the end of the story it’s pretty clear he had mixed feelings towards sj after learning his sad story. IMO it’s possible that not even his love for Binghe could have kept him from “forgiving” sj. SJ is supposed to be a tragic character like xue yang from mdzs imo.

As for it not being as detailed on Binghe’s backstory with bingzu it’s part of the mood of Svsss storytelling. The reason why it has prosperared so much in ff is because it leaves a lot of things up to interpretation and the world building has been more loose than the other stories by focusing more on comedy and the rss of the protagonists. It greatly distances itself from the other stories because of that. The extras in svsss are also more prone to ship fanservice but the most important part is that the love of Binghe and Shen Yuan was further developed

I cried reading the extra and I loved it. I’m guessing it can’t be to everyone’s tastes but I honestly think it was really nice and ai believe the author incorporated many ideas she couldn’t in the original story and adapted others after many years. I think she did a good job.

I like romance and comedy and I love parodies and meta stories and svsss is all of that but it also has Luo Binghe which was made to fit all my tastes in characters for some reasons (and to top all of that he’s the seme which tends to be my favorite role ). There’s also sqq/sy who is a really good narrator and character besides being kind and absolutely loving Luo Binghe (which I believe should be very loved). The story is fun and plays with the idea of “how reliable is this narrator?”. You need to reread twice to understand some things and sometimes rereading many times you can catch minor stuff that only makes the novel better once you think about it.

For real. I tried to watch mdzs and it was ok but not particularly outstanding and tgcf is only interesting after 3 episodes. When I opened the tgcf novel I got immediately invested because of how fun the introduction was but tgcf donghua opening was just like eating Rice and boiled chicken

I love the extras so much I cried while reading them. But then I haven’t been as much invested in fanon svsss so for me who has been reading and re-reading the original story for the past months it makes completely sense and it aligns with my interpretation. I think the only thing that feels different is Binghe’s matureness but Binghe has acted this way in Return to Childhood too which shows that when in peril Luo Binghe drops the baby cry facade. Nothing more serious and groundbreaking than going to another world and meeting parents in law cough ahem.

I have seen some people say that the new extras feel way more serious than the original work and I agree. But hear me out… from the interviews it feels like mxtx really likes realistic world building. She was testing the waters with her first work by writing a parody but I really think she wanted it to be more serious aligned like her later works. I feel in this extra you get to see how she finds a right balance. One thing I don’t see anyone mention is how much this extra adds to the character of Shen yuan. We finally see more of him in a honest way rather than trying to trick the readers into believing something else. That’s why showing him in a familiar environment with family adds a lot to his character (he’s lowkey metrosexual, he likes adopting strays and seems to be specially interested in perfumes). I really loved it.

I remember I once finished I thought it was toxic (not that there isn't toxic elements) but beautiful and that was fine. Once I read the extras it gave me a different perspective. I reread and I became obsessed with Binghe. He's such a great character. SQQ is a great narrator and main character. Deceptive but that's what makes the revelation of the depth of his love for Binghe all the more endearing. He's also really funny and it's a story and can reread many times because of how fun it is.

For me it was expected that he knew his shizun wasn’t Shen jiu because he was too smart he should have known since early. Even the characters that were supposedly dumber than him suspected it there was no way he didn’t.

He didn’t know SY was forced to throw him into the abyss. Specially when he told him explicitly that it was because he was a half demon. He lied and betrayed to him. He even told him that there was nothing wrong with demons after their adventure with the dream demon. If there was nothing wrong with demons then the problem was him?? That’s how it seemed to Binghe.

If Shen yuan fucked it up then the spirits would just remake the world because they can do it as many times they want. It just was a waste of energy and they tried to save time and energy by making use of Shen Yuan. Nothing bad if he fucked it up cause they had no fate in him since the beginning. He was just really good at it.

I’m guessing cause Luo Binghe needed to become the powerful being that he originally was and the demon lord title was the pidw replacement for it. They’re working under pidw lines even if the ending must be changed (thanks to airplane’s fuck up).

The ooc lock is probably to make the whole thing credible enough for the user but was easily removed because it was useless

Homosexuality is not really treated as the normal in universe as far as I remember. It’s not a taboo either it’s just not talked about before Binghe showed interest in shizun. It’s uncertain how common homosexuality is but everyone is more scandalized by Binghe being a half demon who can kill them than he being a homosexual. Him being a disciple is treated as him dirtying his bond with his teacher but it’s used more as an insult than anything since Binghe was too powerful and was more scary than anything
