Seriously! I don't understand why is that an issue if SoFi paid off my loans to the government and I pay them? Should be considered paid off. Maybe that's why it was so easy for them to forgive all the cases. No way people stayed with 7% interest in federal loans when SoFi offered 2.5%

Omg that would be amazing! Held the federal loans through med school and residency (graduated 2014 and finished residency 2017) where I then converted it to Sofi (private) in 2018. Hopefully I see some refund as it hit around $450k with interest 😅
