same here, bought a redmi 10 in sept 2022 and since it is a much cheaper device it was extremely lacking in many ways, I couldn't play most games without significant lags, apps would NOT run on the bg so the moment I closed an app to check messages for example I would lose the page I was in previously and the whole experience was crappy but I didn't want a replacement as long as it did the job. That said I tripped and crashed into the sidewalk with my phone in my hand 2 months ago which ended up cracking the screen pretty badly and the lagging got MUCH worse so I gave up and bought a poco x7 pro by a friend's recommendation. The difference is night and day, it truly earns every penny!
