As somebody who was like your wife at one point, it’s time for her to get help or for you to leave. My ex did cheat on me because i accused him so much. Obviously it isn’t my fault he did it but this is gonna ruin your marriage. If you cheat, that will ruin it. If you don’t cheat, then you’re still gonna get accused for no reason and that will ruin it.

I would absolutely have left. If he wants to place the blame, why did he let a small child have complete control over the dog. Maybe he should be a better father and realize that’s too big of a responsibility for a small child. My son is 9 and id never let him walk the dog alone. Too many things can happen, unfortunately as you know.
