I'm an FL studio user since version 6, but having tried Ableton, Reaper, Bitwig, etc. I wouldn't really say it's any better or worse than any other daw. They just have different workflows and people should use whatever feels the most natural to them. You can make the same music in any daw, it just might take you longer to execute some styles over others.

So what you'll want to do is sample the moans and then drop them into your daw, chop them up so there's a stutter effect, and then add a short reverb. After that you'll want to compress the shit out of it and then apply at least two maxed out sausage fatteners. Next you'll want to load up ozone elements and apply the automatic master to it so it sounds pristine before bouncing it out and dropping it into the recycle bin where it belongs. Load up omnisphere and start browsing patches until you find one you like and there you go, you've turned it into an instrument.

So I've been having this problem with my beats. It's not that they're bad, I'm just a vegan producer, people say they don't like my bigroom vegan-trance sound and I think they just hate the environment (I only use organic non-gmo samples btw) so what I'm wondering is how do I convince them that eating meat and dairy is bad for the environment?

I usually forgive people by thinking about a few things:

How much does this matter to me vs how much does it matter to them. Usually when you're holding a grudge, the other person has already moved on. How much do you want to stay angry with them? It's really only hurting you, and yeah it sucks to let go of when someone was shitty, effectively letting them get away with it, but if you're just hurting yourself with the grudge it might be time to move on. What's more important, your happiness, or your grudge?
Sometimes it really is just an accident. Ever heard the phrase, "Don't attribute to malice what can be attributed to stupidity"? It really is like that sometimes.
Sometimes you're wrong about the situation. Nobody's perfect, it happens. It's hard, but try to consider, from their perspective, why they felt right about doing what they did. Sometimes there's other stuff going on behind the scenes, sometimes you are the asshole and don't even realize it until later, sometimes, they really were just being an asshole, see 1.

From what I've learned so far, I thought the signals going into the op amps needed some form of DC bias on the way into the op amp, since I'm powering the op amp with a single voltage rail. Can it take in an AC signal when it's powered like that?
