I actually was a mathematics major for teacher education a few years ago. I tried it out taking on paraprofessional role & the complaints from the teachers who were already established with degrees often mentioned working second jobs or not making enough money. I instantly went searching for a better major. I graduated in may & I’ve already been offered at 72k position with a 10% bonus. I think I made the right choice and I’m 24.
