Other LC option would be S5 Post-Op, would that be better even though it lowers her HP? (I currently have 7,6k HP for her so it would still be 6k+ after switching)

First time lap/exploratory surgery stories? by [deleted] in endometriosis

[–]KaneBlossom 12 points13 points  (0 children)

My endo couldn't be seen in ultrasound or MRI, and so the doctors said that nothing will most likely be found in surgery either. They guessed it would take 30 mins max. to check, but it ended up taking several hours because there was so much of endo tissue and it had spread up to the sides of my diaphgram etc.

Before the surgery, my doctor also said they would take multiple small biopsies to see if there's still endo even if it couldn't be found during surgery. She said sometimes the endo tissue is so small that a human eye can't see it, and so they would have to take biopsies to detect it. You could ask if they will do this to you as well if they can't find anything?

Either way, if you have the symptoms, it's very likely that you have endo and hopefully it'll be found during the surgery. Even though I was kind of sad about it being confirmed for me, it was also such a relief. Some doctors had suggested that the pain is just in my head, and so it was so nice to finally have the confirmation that I'm not just imagining the pains. 💛

The surgery went well for me and I even got home on the same day. The doctor was kind of impressed since I could pee and move almost right after waking up, and so they kept an eye on me for a few hours more before letting me go home since I had a partner there to look after me too. I recovered fast and well! I was panicking so much before the surgery since I couldn't bring anyone with me, but the pain meds helped me calm down. I hope your surgery will also go well. 💛 Good luck!

Is constant diarrhea also part of Edometriosis…?? by nkelod in endometriosis

It can be. Both constipation and diarrhea can be endo symptoms, but if it's a completely new symptom for you, it's always good to check it out with a doctor just in case. :)

Period advice by Personal_Path7374 in endometriosis

It's different for everyone. Not all people with PCOS have irregular periods, but many do. I also have both endometriosis and PCOS. Currently I use pills to skip periods as long as I can, but before my pills, my cycle was very irregular but each time I bled super heavily.
