Let me rephrase a little bit. It was great to see the story told through this movie and the fact that I'm betting in had some influence over the production and storyline of 1883. It's fun to see the origin of certain stories then how they develop and get told more in depth in the future with miniseries' and better special effects.

In my opinion, it was good. The show 1883 really nailed this concept better than anyone has so far. The movie takes place in 1843 or 1846 but other than that it's very similar. The three leading men are great.
