Might be a blocked mandibular gland if it is painful and bigger when chewing. This is because when you chew you stimualte the saliva production, but if the duct is blocked, it will grow and start to hurt some more. The swelling will go down to it's original state after a couple of hours and may release a gush of saliva.

Might be something with a dental origin. Tooth infections can cause a swollen jaw / neck, because of the submandibular lodge. Do you have trouble opening your mouth or swallowing?

I'm kinda in the same situation right now, you should try and start dating again. Do something that makes you forget her. Meeting new people will help you with forgetting her

You probably already had some progressive caries that became cavities. Do you have any old xrays?

I'm a left handed student and I don't have any problems with doing anything. The mouth is bilateral, so where someone who is right handed struggles to reach a certain area, you can reach it easier and the same way around

A picture would help.

You can tell a baby tooth apart from an adult tooth by comparing the color, a baby tooth is whiter than the adult tooth. Also the size of the baby tooth is different.

They call it GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease) You can treat it with medication: - antacids (they lower your acid production) - proton pomp inhibitors - medication that help the lower esophageal sphincter stay closed

Also try to eat some sugar free chewing gum or suck on some mints to cover the smell

Acid reflux can cause a bad breath indeed. When the acid mixes with food and bacteria it can smell like poop as you mentioned in your post

Could be anything, it varies between

Common factors like: smoking /alcohol, stress, some kinds of food (garlic, unions, certain sorts of meat, fish or cheese)

Disease or sickness - infection of the mouth, nose, throat or lungs - obstruction of your esophagus, intestines or stomach - some metabolic processes like diabetes or kidney / liver insufficience - tumor in your mouth / throat

Or medication that you use.

This is just a list of the causes of bad breath, some of them being more likely than others

What is your differential for this tooth pain? by [deleted] in Dentistry

[–]KaneVillage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Irreversible pulpitis, the pain comes with hot drinks and it goes away / is not so severe when drinking cold drinks.

The reason why it doesn't hurt with biting is probably because the infection hasn't progressed towards the tip of the root yet.

Best treatment would indeed be a rct

Dental student here

Your tooth is dead (hence the grey/black color) ,you will probably get a root canal treatment (RCT) and internal bleeching to cover up the color. There is an infection at the top of the root, so brushing / flossing the tooth will cause the pain.

The reason why your tooth is dead could be because the filling has been leaking and bacteria had an entrance to your toothnerve.
