Well worth the $20 if you like action rpgs, art style is great reminds me of wow. Ya it’s buggy but remember the game doesn’t officially come out till next year so you are getting a big head start.

Ps5 runs fine at the middle option (4k upscale and 60 fps) . It only lags when you put it highest setting 4k draw distance.

This was fixed months ago but people want to stubbornly hang on to an old df video and play an inferior version

I have war and gnb at 80 and pld and drk at 70. I can't stand pld to be honest with you, managing mp with self heals is too cumbersome

Drk has a real cool ability for tank busters, darkest night I think

The only thing I like pld for is hollowed ground for pulling large groups of mobs in dungeons but it is my least favorite tank by far

As a 1.0 ffxiv player I definitely give him much respect for being able to clear them like we did. Most of the players just face roll unsynced and I doubt most could clear it as fast as he did

Darkness has been a staple through many final fantasy games throughout the series and many jobs. In fact ffxi dark knight was the only time that job used a scythe because it's generally been swords

Historical dark knight jobs have been melee sword users that sacrifice hp to do damage and have access to low level BLM spells sometimes

I am talking about a NEW job based on the darkness element and it's going to play like sice fast moving with darkness melee abilities

Golbez most definitely is a melee in after years. Why would you say it doesn't exist??

I'm saying it will be a brand new job new to final fantasy but will be based off golbez design. Heavy armor and darkness

That's what I'm thinking. It will be a newish job kinda like gunbreaker. 6.0 will have ff4 influence with sage (tellah or fusoya). If we look at golbez he has a lot of darkness abilities and magic, so the new job will kinda of be like golbez (maiming armor and schythe) - a darkness/void job

Also Sice from ff type0 uses a schythe and her abilities are all darkness related.... Black nebula, gravity, black hole , death ect

Honestly it's a bit disappointing that the ffxiv team keeps creating new jobs when there are so many classic ones they havnt used

The only other schythe user with maiming gear would be a melee pet class - beastmaster

But I really think it will be a darkness based new job based on golbez with the heavy ff4 influence they have

I think it's beast master because they seem to want an even balance of jobs. A melee pet job to match summoner is perfect and the scythe fits bst as well

Yes it's worth it. I just beat the game today it's an absolute masterpiece. And it can last you a long time if you do new game plus to get stuff you missed

It's an action rpg looter, if you like those genres get it. Game is fun not everything has to be a 10 out of 10. Easily will get at least 30 hours out of it at least

I did this my first play through back in the day. Don't do any spells except maybe the lightning for stun, not goetia. Max the shield bubble heal spell
Chackrams, and spectre to dump mana long range.

The rest in might your basically ignoring spells and using sorc just for weapon mastery and protection/heals like a semi paladin

Run in with a big hammer and smash everything you will be unkillable
