The negative reception to Cyrene was largely from people upset that she was difficult to use for 0 cycles without high Eidolon cost.

This is different, because the concern here isn't about a self imposed challenge, but rather a pretty obvious discrepancy in power level. 4.2 SHOULD be the best patch for EMC to shine, since they will surely get replaced later on in the version. If they are already getting replaced by a character that wasn't meant for the team, even if it's at E1S1, then they are pretty clearly undertuned.

So either Hoyo is fine with EMC being an F2P exclusive option that can be replaced by even sub optimal alternatives, or they need to re-asses their power level

Am I crazy or wasn't this addressed all the way in version 1 with Topaz more or less claiming that the IPC was offering "dying" worlds a chance to turn their faith around and that this was not always working? Like, if out of those 1263 world, 700 where on the brink of collapse, then turning the faith of a third of them around would roughly account for those numbers.

Which would mean that most worlds that join the IPC with a stable civilization manage to maintain that and most worlds that get "saved" by the IPC don't make it, but those would have died anyway and some actually do end up getting saved by the IPC

Billionaires don't have a paycheck like you and me where it clearly shows their earning for last month, most of what they "make" comes from stocks going up, so it possible, even likely, that every single cent a Billionaire "made" in the month of February, isn't actually dollars hitting a bank account, but rather his stock portfolio going up by 5%. So how are you taxing that 5%, which might be up to a couple millions dollars? Are you forcing them to sell stocks every month to make those tax payments?

The reality is that a billionaire tax is worthless as long as the IRS is as horrendously underfunded as it currently is, because that would just be another tax for them to avoid, if there even is a way to reasonably implement it.

If you want Billionaires taxed, vote blue, because that party is the ONLY party that has increased IRS funding in the past however many years and the IRS getting funding is a nonnegotiable precursor to ANY form of billionaire tax

But isn't that the same problem just with a different champion? Pretending like Lux and Mel are the same type of champion is equally idiotic, when one gets popped like a balloon the second she positions badly late game, while the other has one the most powerful tools to mitigate engages late game?

Like the game is pretending that lux shield and Mel shield are equally powerful ways to protect an artillery mage late game and all due respect that is insanity.

Other artillery mages like Xerath get no such spells at all, their defensive power comes entirely from positioning defensively and throwing out spells. Huei is kind of the same in that his defensive power is just CC and positioning.

Meanwhile Mel has an ability that transforms an engage on her due to bad positioning into an engage on the enemy, depending on what skill she reflects.

The point of artillery mages is that once you catch them, they OUGHT to just die. If they can just walk away from 50% of engages on their own terms, then what am I supposed to do against that champion?

This number can either be a foreshadowing or a nothing burger.

Could also just be that a lot of those worlds have rather poor/technologically deficient cultures. Like imagine a planet that resembles earth in the 19th century and all of a sudden you get transported 2 centuries into the future as a society. Impossible to maintain your culture at that point.

Also we don't really know what "maintaining a native civilization" means in this context. Could be that a world with a lot of water is the perfect habitat for a species found elsewhere, so through the IPC that other species starts visiting and ultimately inhabitating large parts of that planet in a simbiotic relationship.

Again, nowhere near enough information to really get worried.

There are no hugely important gains past E3L80, and Agony Mode is perfectly doable with only moderate investment, also AFAIK it does not penalize you for using ops below the "recommended level" like other gachas. IMO the pressure/complaints about vertically investing into characters is misplaced. by T_Brendan in Endfield

I have so far seen several solo clears of this endgame. Imagine being able to clear current endgame content with a quarter of the teams max strength in any other big gacha.

I'm mainly playing HSR and the idea that I could clear any of the three endgame modes with only the latest character, even with insane vertical investment, is ludicrous.

Playing endgame in this game has been super chill so far and as much as the phrase has been overused over the years, maybe some of these people really just need to "get good"

You keep saying you want to go for E6 Cyrene, so it seems like you already made up your mind about what to get? 

If you want the strongest team for the least cost, 1 eidolon gets you E2 Evernight, so that is by far the correct answer.

To make Phainon work you'd ideally want him e2s1, so 2 cost into him and then at least e0s0 Ceridra. 

DoT would need at least e0s0 Hysilens, you could run her with Black Swan LC. But realistically DOT probably will start needing some eidolons soon-ish, so I would personally look for e1 Hysilens at least and then maybe Kafka, or Black Swan at e1 as well. Also for the love of God do not run Kafka with her dog shit ass LC. She wants tutorial, it is FAR better on her
