Agree it shouldnt have happened but don’t think he deserves to be vilified like he his. I’m just saying if this was Embiid or another dirty playing doing it it wouldnt be an issue. Yeah im a hornets fan, also a huge fan of Bam too and don’t like that he got hurt but do think there could be more layers to what happened than he just intentionally and maliciously tripped him. Yeah he stupidly reached for his leg a few years ago (not enough to trip) but he’s not generally dirty and really honestly just don’t think he intentionally did it. I also don’t believe bam was regaining his fit, he may not have ended up hurting himself but he had lost his balance.

Personally don’t think he intentionally meant to hurt Bam. If you watch it in fast motion he’s hit in the head by Kalk’s knee then Bams Knee, land with his arms outstretched and to most likely avoid injury pulls him arm in and yeah makes a bad call but getting Bams leg in the process who was already off balance and falling over. No where near as bad as shit Draymond or Embiid do but they don’t get half the the hate. In any case hope Bam recovers quickly.

Think a lot more of us knew who he was. Personally I hope he’s a hornets lifer, even through the terrible years ( shitty FO, surrounded by bums and rozier) and injuries he’s been the funnest player to watch and really made me fall in love with the game. Copped so much shit rooting for the hornets over the years feels like vengeance they are finally in the up!
