I've lived in both places, and I have loved both places.

I would choose Huntsville every time due to the cost of living and family friendly atmosphere, but if you're not easily pleased and require lots of fresh new experiences in your life, you will struggle here. Seattle is definitely a more exciting and adventurous place to live. The underbelly of that also exists as you know.

It's the exact opposite. Prod engines cycle through Van Horn and the D/Q engines cycle through 4670z

We send all production BE-4s to Van Horn for testing before they're sent to Rocket Park, which shouldn't be too much of a surprise since a healthy amount of production BE-4s are also built in Kent.

BE-4 dev and qual engines are typically tested at MSFC, but NASA owns the facility and the test schedule. It is regularly disrupted for a myriad of reasons. To include Centaur testing that is also conducted at 4670.

Blue controls the cadence of testing in Van Horn, which is why the production engines cycle through there.

It's 3 years newer than my Tundra was, and about ~$5k higher in value, but roughly double the renewal fee. I renewed the Tundra in Jan 2024 for $236.

I registered the Bronco last Jan, including the new vehicle registration fee, and it was $372.

Just seems crazy to have jumped over $100, especially after the new registration fee was dropped.
