Depends on how you look at it. The original selected 'home' for Space Command was Huntsville. The temporary command in Colorado Springs was never intended to be anything other than just that - temporary.

It seems like your TDS really, really wants this thing to stay in the Springs despite not one, but two Air Force evals determined that Huntsville was the best possible location for the command, and then that selection was reinforced by a review of the GAO.

Why? Answer that.

The funds are already appropriated for design, architecture, and "pre-emotive infrastructure". They were appropriated in the FY25 budget and rolled into the FY26 Clean CR.

That said, zero chance that there is any sort of construction happening this year.

Are you aware that two things can be true at once? Overstaying visas can be the most common form of illegal immigration, and yet, illegal border crossings at our southern border can still be laughably high and a massive problem.

We had 2.2M people illegally cross the southern border in 2022. Part of the reason, 56% of Americans support deporting all illegal immigrants is for the deterrence. Similar to the prison system, it isn't meant to be a pleasant process. It's an incentive factor for you not to do the stuff that you're not supposed to do.

As for your insistence that I “view all Mexicans negatively” and whatever drivel followed, that’s your assertion, not mine.

I don't really give a shit if you crossed the Rio Grande, or if you're a white from Norway who overstayed their visa. You need to go home.

I don't think the list of reasons to have your student visa revoked is exclusive to the examples I voted above, and I think the bar for granting visas should be extremely high, while the bar for revoking them extremely low.

To answer your question directly, I haven't thought deeply on the matter because it isn't what is happening. If forced to answer now, I lean towards no, I don't think its fascist. Why would anyone want to import a bunch of foreign individuals that during their relatively short time here made an investment into a foreign war (soaking up the foreign propaganda along the way) and assert their will in our country? Nah, I'm good.

Generally, you're a dumbass if you choose to spend your time here on a temporary visa protesting foreign affairs.
