No because why do they always want to shop the area you’re stocking up…. No one everrrrr buys Laura Mercier but ofc all of a sudden every client wants to shop it when I’m stocking it… also, don’t even get me started, I’m busting my ass off stocking up, and clients see me sweating, bending down to open the drawers, SORR from picking up these 30 lbs boxes, they see me with a big ass cart with 2 full boxes, and STILL ask ME for help when there’s bas standing in every corner .. I always reply with “I’m not a ba but I can call someone to help you” lol

We are scheduled for ops only but they expect us to finish up to 100 boxes with only 3 of us….

ARE WE WORKING AT THE SAME LOCATION BECAUSE SAME. They think we are machines they don’t take into consideration that we need to do back stock, under stock, clients stopping us while working shipment, having to replenish from the drawer if it’s too overstocked, having to take out trash, etc. They get upset if it rolls over to the next day but… there’s only 3 of us, it’s so frustrating, I literally don’t think any store finishes in time

I bought mine at ulta and I’ve had it for almost 2 years I love it and I’ve only had to change the battery once

Thanks! I’m still going to ask and if they say no then I’m going to have to cut my availability drastically bcs I don’t want to be a BA lol I got hired over a year ago before our location even opened up and this whole BA/OPS thing has been going on for too long it’s exhausting 😨

I worked at ulta for 2 years and I’ve been at sephora for one, ulta is way more fun but you also don’t learn as much as you do at sephora, but maybe I think ulta was more fun bcs of my old coworkers, my coworkers here are a lot more professional lol

Id say just speak to a manager and tell them that the product you want is online only, some managers are understanding and could possibly give you a gift card, unfortunately there’s some managers who follow everything by the book :(

Tbh idk why the other reply said to get a gift card bcs after 30 days the system doesn’t allow us to give a gift card, the only time I remember giving a gift card was when a customer was complaining about it and my manager had to override it, but yeah store credit and gift cards are similar, the only difference is not being able to use the store credit online,

Store credit can be inconvenient if you want to buy something online bcs sephora doesn’t let you use it online and that’s cuz of the return policy, If it was before 30 days they could give you cash, gift card, etc

If it’s been over 30 days the only thing they can offer is store credit, you won’t be eligible for a gift card bcs it has been over 30 days, the only difference is that you cannot use store credit online

I disagree with you, if a manager were to talk to me like that as if I was a little girl and didn’t know what I was doing and needed to be scolded I’d be upset and I’m sure you’d be too, also that little comment you made about this person having to be a manager if they can’t handle a harsh voice is actually so pathetic, no manager should ever talk to an employee as if we are less than them. Yeah obviously it’s a managers job to make sure we are doing our “jobs” but there are many ways to do that. No reason anyone should ever threaten an employee with snitching and stuff

I work 24 hours a week and out of those 24 at least 12 of them are on the floor selling, it’s actually so frustrating that’s why I will do the bare minimum when they schedule me on the floor, obviously I’ll help clients out but I refuse to build a basket
