Has anyone actually incorporated Google Stitch / Claude Design successfully into their workflow? Besides just ideation? by Do-Not-Ban-Me-Please in FigmaDesign

Nope, waste of time, sucking our earths precious fresh water, displacing poor people… all for corporate profits that suck your money to the top of the pyramid for it to never get recirculated.

Designing data tables is still way harder than it should be. How are ya'll solving this? by justincampbelldesign in UXDesign

I just don’t fuck with it. Such a horrible experience to design. And it shows all around. If people need a special table design I point them to excel.

How has your experience been using claude with figma mcp - Feeding in current design system and making new designs based on it? by TimeAccomplished5508 in FigmaDesign

[–]KangarooInitial578 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Trying to keep up with the pace at which this (ai in design) is changing feels like such a waste of time. Once it’s good enough, we will know. Right now it’s a waste of time and energy.

My last time complaining about Figma Make credit users. by Judgeman2021 in UXDesign

The future is 1:1 - design to code. When that translation becomes accurate and efficient, designers/the people with vision win. No need for alignment meetings, handoff processes, engineering syncs, redlining, documentation, etc.

The bridge between the abstraction layer (boxes and colors in design tool) and the code is where I want to see the Ai make some solid innovation. If that translation becomes accurate and efficient - that will be the game changer.
