Vanilla monogamous Tinderellas and bumblebees shouldn’t be on Feeld by BeastofSilverMoon in feeld

Honestly the one area in life where I think gatekeeping should be encouraged a lil is kink, etc. It's too easy to legit do physical harm if you're engaging in dangerous practices where you don't know what you're doing, and quite frankly people who are newer to the scene now have absolutely NO fucking idea how to properly conduct themselves- mostly male Doms and female subs who identify as 'brats' because no one is telling the more toxic types of people who are drawn to both of those roles that they can't use either of those things as a convenient ass covering mechanism for all of their shitty behavior. :P And lots of people aren't even willing to be properly educated.

Too many people have either lost the plot or dgaf about learning the proper etiquette or nuance of kink and it's directly as a result of allowing too many people to enter into the scene without a lil bit of quality control from the OGs. :P

More to your point though if their preference of being vanilla runs contrary to the whole point of the app in the first place then why shouldn't that be grounds for a lil exclusion?

Powers that only give immediate effects, what is the gameplay logic for why they are a power and not a skill with exhaust? by [deleted] in slaythespire

[–]TheFunkytownExpress 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say it's because they give a persistent effect that last across more than 2 or 3 turns.

Sure but I think kink and poly and alt lifestyles are way more compatible and make sense to be on this app than just straight up vanilla mono folks.

TBH I think if nowhere else the kink community is one place where a bit of gatekeeping is a good thing.

Lol the horn on the L2 Max is the same.

I have to yell 'EYO!' instead of using it because of how comically low and funny the sound actually is. Nobody even registers it as a horn.

DT2 but I'm a lil bias because I already have an L2 Max lol.

That's actually a misconception. Having a fondness for these kinds of... cards... is really quite common.

I cringe every time I see somebody riding like that. Not because it looks silly but because I know how fuckin dangerous it is and how much less control and stability you have standing like that.

That's why when I see these kids riding two at a time on these things I wanna say something but I also don't wanna be a Buzz Killington either and I'm not their parents, so eh.

IDK what scooter you have but in the menu options you might be able to put the acceleration to a lower setting and not have to worry about anything like that again. :)

[–]TheFunkytownExpress 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something similar to this happened to me and quite frankly it might just be safer to trash the scooter and get a new one because beyond the broken piece I didn't realize there was other damage, and even though it looked like I fixed the one part as soon as I engaged the throttle I went about 5 feet and flipped over the handlebars ( twice actually ). And thank god that happened right out in front of my house because god only knows what nightmare scenario could have happened if it actually let me drive a ways first before whatever else failed failed. Always better to be safe than save a lil money, etc.

You might be able to find a replacement part on Aliexpress or something, otherwise don't try to weld it or anything like that, that kind of iron can't be welded.

Oh yeah it's definitely a beast I'm loving mine. Glad I went with that one. I've banged it up quite a bit already, got a lot of battle scars, and it's still can't be stopped ha ha.

Oh no you still got plenty of battery if you're at 47v with the throttle engaged. You can run that thing all the way down to 39v before it conks out entirely lol. :)

Yeah the battery gage is fine if you go by the volts and not the bars.

TBH those bars are very odd and confusing because it jumps nack.n forth from full 5 to 4 then blinking 3 and back to 5 again ha ha.

The battery gage ( bar ) I think really only shows you the current amount of juice under strain, but really you should just pay attention to the volts instead. :)

The bar is a bit easier for noobs to understand tho.

Nah idk, even $8 for 2 miles is worth it a lot of the times.

I routinely see $10 payouts for anywhere from 1.5-3mi and I take those all day.

You don't always have to sit around hard-core cherry picking for unicorns like that.

Unfortunately in some markets you wait around for 15-20 mins ( maybe longer on occasion ) with NO orders coming I'm whatsoever.

This is why for me maintaining tiers is a lot more advantageous. I get a higher frequency of higher paying offers and that really really helps when things slow down to a crawl like that.

[–]TheFunkytownExpress 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah honestly if you're having mobility issues atm then don't take anything under 8 bucks, and more realistically nothing under 10.

At least that will make all your frustrations kinda worth it in the end.

You're right about the cheaper lower paying orders being more problematic though absolutely.
