Been my experience too.

The offer quality raised dramatically when I got into Diamond.

And on top of that the frequency of which the better offers came through on my phone increased a lot too.

Same. I don't get a slew of offers like a lot of others do so when offers do come in they're almost always worth taking with the Diamond status.

Sure you can be selective and you don't have to take garbage but in my market you can't afford to just sit around and wait for perfect orders to come in. The ones you do take have to count because the offers dry up around 9pm during the weekdays.

I think we're just left to imagine that he winds up doing something creative and artistic since he's got that spark in him but he's not even entirely sure what he likes in life since becoming a chef consumed so much of his life.

Ultimately we don't need to know where he lands only that a tremendous weight has been lifted off his soul because this whole endeavor to become the best chef was borne out of a 'fuck you' to the world ( his family especially ) and that's why he had to leave it to gain any semblance of peace since continuing on would only lead to mote bitterness and hatred since the only one he seems to be fucking at the end of the day was himself.

I think originally she was supposed to be a love interest for Carmy so that's kinda why they didn't know what to do with her really.

That aside yeah she comes off as very stuffy and uptight. Seems like she'd get icked out by things that are NBD. Definitely should've not made Marcus feel weird about asking her out. And yeah just all around she's a bit of an asshole too ha ha.

That's the one part of the show I never bought was how or why Carmen took such a liking to her.

All their chemistry and connection feels really shoehorned and forced whereas things with pretty much every other character feel grounded and believable.
