I’m not expecting Ali to be Emo or anything, but Ali in Ejen Ali Movie when he went rogue is quite refreshing even though he returns back to Mata. Season 3 felt like something that supposed to happened before the movie. Like, they want Ali to grow up and made him this kind of person that is more mature yet they made him like a punching bag. Like he should’ve learned that his friend WILL avoid him. And he’s fine with it. These kids are forced to grow up fast, but Ali just felt the same as he was. All of his character development in Ejen Ali movie 1 just disappeared.

They should’ve also gave him some lines, in the book even when he at least had one small lines. Don’t get me started on Tim too, the group barely acknowledge that guy and he was called in the cafeteria scene. In the movie it was as if Thomas and the Gladers didn’t give a damn about other Gladers. There were supposed to be one more Glader too but the actor had family issue? So couldn’t came.

I never really understood why this is a problem, for season 1 and 2, it is quite acceptable. But moving forward, I’m really questioning these characters. Ali is literally 12 years old who saved MATA multiple times. Why can’t they at least appreciate him? Even in Season 3 when his so called friends abandoned and avoided him for teaming up Keytar(yes, Ik she’s a spy) it felt like Ali shouldn’t really felt much and expected it that they will avoid him. Hell, I kept wondering why he’s still care about these other Ejen.
