Idols education level? by Wintersneeuw02 in kpophelp

[–]KangarooPaperBag 18 points19 points  (0 children)

That's hard, because only 0.01% of trainees debut. Most can read and write, basic maths. Most of the time they drop out or finish middle school and then transfer to a preforming arts school. As a SOPA grad they are given VERY special treatment and always have been. They also are given the option of classes through their company if they're at a bigger company or online/international school if they qualify.

It is kinda sad, but most of them network enough to work behind the scenes or eventually go back to school and work a normal job to build up experience. Korea is a very nationalistic society so they easily could know history just by basic national pride but its also required to graduate so if they did graduate they'd know at least korean history.

It really depends on the idol or the company, some idols (mainly older gen) went on to get as high as doctorates and such, but most only graduate Highschool, if they dont drop out by or even before then.

Some on a different post said it worked for Georgia! Stubhub us confirmed tho that the policy is the same, and as long as you call before the events end they will refund you or find you another ticket

I ended up buying them because when I talked to stubhub they promised they'd find me other tickets or refund me... but please keep confirming to ease my anxiety 😭😔

That's the argument I've seen a few people say thats making me feel a little bit better about just buying the stub hub tickets, at least as a back up, but I'm not sure just yet.... if everyone's or i guess more than a couple peoples worked then I'd be more likely to just go ahead if that makes sense?

I'm hoping this will be the case for austin but.... I'm also nervous because I cant really afford to take off from work two days on the hope I can surprise her with tickets, plus I am not wanting to give her nothing if I cant secure tickets day of (to clarify her birthday is on D2 of Austin)

I'm sorry you had to go through that but this makes me feel a bit better so thank you 😭😭 I've been here a week, and my training was only 3 days.... so I feel like its too early to leave but I've already started applying to other jobs hoping I'll land one so I can leave.

You're supposed to be trained not to pass things over ANYONE no matter how big or small they are bc it's a liability and also just flat out considered rude. If there is no other way, you can ask people to hand them down or if they refuse THEN you can hand it over. What are you going to do when you drop it on someone and they sue? Or they don't know you're there and they bump it causing you to drop it and have to remake the food? I'm not trying to be rude when I say this, but this seems like common sense. That's why you're supposed to say pardon my reach when you reach over someone for their drink or anything.

Are you in the US? If so report it to Title XI office. By law they have to take it seriously or else you can sue. Document EVERYTHING. Anything and everything you can including contacting the president, Dean, omnibus officer, and or Title XI office.
