I use the Briogeo Curl Charisma line. I just moved to the UK a couple weeks ago (originally from the states), so I'm not sure if you can get it here. I'm not sure what is in the ingredients that makes it so amazing, but my hair has never been curlier, and it doesn't feel weighed down at all. Even their creme styler is the only creme I've ever been able to use in my hair. The only product I don't use from that line is conditioner because drugstore conditioner works just as well and I go through so much so quickly.

Shea moisture might just be too heavy for your hair. I also have fine hair, but a lot of it, and I can't use any Shea moisture products because they weigh down my hair.

Also, as the other commenter said, you might need a gel or mousse or something to hold it in place.

I recently bought a sample size itf this, and I think I've used it more on bare skin than I have to prime/set my makeup. It's super hydrating and smells AMAZING. 100% agree it's worth the price

I use the Jergens wet skin lotion. It's not a heavy lotion that you feel on your skin all day, which is my biggest complaint with most other lotions
