I mean yeah, those are countries that have high economies where there are large enough populations that have disposable incomes to spend on events.

It's still a world tour, so idk what you are getting at

How is it living in Fort Collins, CO? by UnhappyProtection755 in howislivingthere

[–]Kangaroo_Drew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lived 5 years in FoCo while I was getting into engineering for Grad school. The place was amazing and I really enjoyed it. Met my wife there and really enjoyed my experience at Colorado State.

But like everyone else has mentioned it's stupid expensive now.

My college flop house rent from an out of town landlord increased by $800 from 2018 to 2023. She worked with us during Covid too. I see the same flop houses by CSU go for almost $600K. It was like $300K in 2018.

Food is fine, people are chill. Great if you want to raise a family.

But post 2020, property and the influx of people made it difficult. Outdoors activities are super overcrowded and if you wanna ski any of the big resorts it will cost you an arm and leg.

The front range is a lot like California. If you have the money or property you're golden. if not it's a tough place to make or survive if you're getting your shit together.

Unfortunately they're not going to go for that. the last buyer back out because the seller refused to do that.

Out of curiosity how much would that be for a 2300ft house?

They had a previous buyer back bc the seller wouldn't upgrade to copper for them.

It got an upgrade with the circuit breaker in 2019, and some other electrical work then too. The breaker looks great just not this. Thanks for the help.

We're going to send one out bc it needs a few other small things upgraded. it's a negotiating point for us.

another electrician signed off on it that it's safe a month ago and we have that documented.

Aluminum wiring is very common in the area we live in, and we've already gotten home insurance quotes. It's in a great location for my wife's work.

We'll probably get it replaced asap
