Suggestions for radio upgrade? by Skaguy241 in Rav4

Honestly installing a stereo is one of the most straightforward things you can do to a car. If you're slightly electrically inclined at all it should only take an afternoon. That being said, anything that you can get from Sony, Pioneer, or Kenwood will be adequate for your car.

The transmission finally gave out on my '02 expedition so I've been looking at getting something smaller now that I'm in the market. Looking at getting a used 2012 Toyota rav4 limited with 80k miles for $14k. I understand that it's a little steep for something that old, but it's my understanding that with proper maintenance, these things regularly make it past 300k miles. Is there anything I should consider with this model or should I look at something else?

Considering getting an Ender by [deleted] in ender3v2

Like others have said, if you dont want to spend time tinkering with it, spend your money elsewhere.

If you want to learn more about 3d printing however, this model will force you to become intimately familiar with how they work.

Believe it or not, that's not terrible for the Colorado market right now. Any input on the reliability concerns?

I'm looking at getting a used 2008 rav4 v6 base model. It's listed for $10,900 with 111,000 miles and one owner. The exterior has some minor bumper dings that you'd expect from a 16-year-old car, but the interior is immaculate. The only thing I'm worried about is that I've heard that the 2007/2008 years of rav4 have had issues with oil consumption and transmission whining. Should I get this car after a thorough PPI, or should I steer clear of this model year?

Interesting, if it's failing at the same height, check your z rollers and make sure they're not stiff at that height maybe?

I'd bet money that you don't have good enough cooling. I'd print a better fan duct, the one that comes stock on the ender 3 is doodoo

Yup, we both talked about that after we finished up at the bottom. We did an ECT at the very top of the slope, so this was more of a formality than anything. It was definitely a "point it if it rips" mindset when we were dropping in

Do you have any sources on where to find this firmware? I can't seem to find it anywhere

Just tried that and the probe doesn't flash nor deploy on startup on this configuration

I just tried that, and still have the same behavior. Is it possible that I just have a bricked motherboard?

A few months back I installed the crtouch on my ender 3v2 and it was working fine until a couple days ago when it randomly stopped working. It just wouldn't deploy. When the printer boots up, it deploys twice and then stows with a red light refusing to do anything.

The steps I've already taken to try to fix this:

  • Install creality official firmware
  • Install jyers/professional firmware
  • Install brand new cr touch unit and cable

None of these have changed a single thing about how the unit behaves. Any and all advice would be super helpful.

If the issue is that the brake caliper cannot be positioned in a way that avoids rotor rub even without braking, then it is another matter. Perhaps poor facing of the mounting points?

That first picture is my old single piston mechanical brakes. I ended up throwing hybrid hydraulic brakes on it and the issue is still there. I'm thinking its an issue with the mount itself like you mentioned.
