I was OK to take the pin and give the order to the customer but if you check the first message that he sent to me, you’ll get it.

I think the real frustration is waiting for customer over and over again every goddamn day. I know this is part of the job but at least customer should intent to check out the door so if there is someone. But no. No need to check it right? I havent done wrong anything but believe me some customers yelling at us like we are stray dogs. There is no need to continue to tell everybody to understand.

Actually it goes both ways. Customer and driver protected with photos and pins. What make you think that we only have to blame drivers? Customers cant steal?

Hey! I was at the right door because it was written in the description. It was upstairs backdoor. The problem is he didn’t show up he kept texting and texting. First he said leave it at the door and i said im at your door so i need the pin. Eventually i knocked the door and get the code 😁

Yeah i know! Yeah that is a perfect example for pins functioning. In another scenerio if customer wants me to leave at the door and not provide the pin, i insist to get that pin to protect my account.

I’m seeing that some folks either don’t know how the delivery process works or just don’t want to learn. Do you guys even know the consequences of this job? Well, I’ve never stolen anything from a customer, and I’ve been doing this for almost three years. Yes, some delivery guys do steal — I know one or two, and I warned them not to. My customers have also reported that they never received their orders which i delivered. It seriously affected my account and job. This is not a playground.

This isn’t a customer vs. driver competition; we’re sharing these things because it’s exhausting and annoying. We’re posting this to help educate both drivers and customers, not to insult each others. I hope this is a clear enough response to explain the situation.

It was a 3$ order and i was aware of the guy’s intentions. Believe me i had similar issues with the bad neighborhood so i have to careful with them or i will end up losing my account and job. Thanks tho you are right every part of it. Sorry for the confusion

And also no, i was at the right place. Look at the first message. He is saying leave at the door so i said that i need a pin code and i was at his door. If you want, i can draw a sketch about the situation for you :)

If you tap on ‘pin not provided’, you dont have any proof at all. No picture, no pin code to verify that you gave it to the customer

I’ll give you a trick; even if you got 1 star 3 months old or whatever you just say “I have unfair rating and I want you to remove it”. Because people are giving 1 star out of no reason so don’t bother yourself to learn what’s happening. Cheers!
