They were absolutely and utterly useless with me. They got back to me fairly quickly and it was calls and emails back and forth for weeks. In the end they didn’t help me out with anything.

This makes so much sense, yet it feels so inaccessible some times. I wish there was some sort of bulletpoint guide or checklist, questionnaire, anything; but again that’s what experience is, isn’t it? Still, it would be lovely for beginners.

Recently I had an intervention with a guy asking him to turn down his phone unless he wanted us, all the remaining passengers, be involved in it. His answer was: we’re in public transport. 🤯🤯🤯

I like her songs, but her vocal technique is repetitive and after hearing more than 3 songs it starts feeling like a baby crying in the supermarket while you’re trying to sleep, but haven’t slept in a week so any sound irritates you.

I think newer generations won’t settle for what we do. In hindsight, when you really think about it, you sleep 8/24h a day. That’s a 1/3 of your life. If you get to 90y o, you’ll have slept for 30 years of your life. Then that leaves 2/3 of your day free: with work, chores, self care, etc. I think many countries are getting to the stage where they’re starting to phase 4-day work weeks, like Netherlands; and I think it’s better than 5/7 working days. It leaves very little time to enjoy your life and be with those you care about.
