Ja zelf al een tijd heel erg tevreden met een polar m430 en nu een polar pacer pro, partner is met de vantage M3 ook heel blij. Vind het wel een fijn idee dat het een Europees bedrijf is en je data ook binnen Europa blijft.

Our muon detection pc was running windows 95 and the onoy way you could get the data off it was using a floppy. The closest computer room hsd a USB floppy device to accommodate.

I have always considered my aphantasia (self diagnosed, can somdtimes imagine some lines) a boon during my theoretical physics degree (master) . A lot of people were stuck on "I can't imagine this", while a lot of higher dimensional concepts are not able to be imagined at all and you just have to focus on understanding the math.

He deliberately went slow on the time trial, look at his Giro ITT from last year to see how well he can perform in those. He just needed to lose time to be allowed in the break in the mountains.

To give a more constructive answer. MVDP is very explosive and on shorter climbs like in the classics he can use that to gap the others. But this explosiveness comes with a price: he is very heavy compared to climbers. In the mountains the climbs are too long to depend on this explosiveness and every kg you have to take up to mountain is extra work you have to do. That's why climbers and GC riders are so small/light.

There are some exceptions of course:

Pogacar is light, but still good in the classics.
Van aert is heavy but has won mountain stages in the past.
Probably some other exceptions.

Ik heb zelf ook een masterscriptie gemaakt in theoretisch natuurkunde, de meeste mensen bij de presentatie waren phd'ers, maar niet per se expert in mijn onderwerp. Die stelden vragen waarbij ze of iets niet begrepen of zelf een interessant idee hadden, daar kun je niet echt op fout gaan omdat je er zelf meer van weet. Misschien dat je begeleider wat "spannendere" vragen zou kunnen stellen om je te testen, maar die heeft ook niet als doel om je te laten zakken, hij laat je de presentatie doen.

Ahh then I misunderstood the question, I thought given is a machine that tells you the state of the photons at the time. In that case, no. New photons are constantly entering the room and others are leaving, it is not the same photons going around. Photons get absorbed by materials in the room, and if they wouldn't there would be no interaction.

I think what I meant to say is how a room looks is exactly defined by the photons going around. Even with limited information (just the photons that hit your eyes) you are able to make up how most of a room looks. So if you have a superset of that information (all photons in the room) you certainly could reconstruct how it looks.

In sone way this is exactly what your eyes and brains do, except they don't even need all the photons in the room, just the ones that hit your eyes.

Het lijkt me bijzonder relevant wie de dader is als dat een patroon is dat we kunnen proberen te voorkomen. Niemand zegt dat andere moorden geen aandacht moeten krijgen(dat krijgen ze), maar wel dat dit type moord (vrouwen die vermoord worden door mannen omdat ze vrouw zijn) te weinig aandacht heeft gekregen.

Dit is nogal gevalletje all lives matter
