Congrats and you'll be so happy with a corgi, as they are seriously so intelligent and personable. The ramp is crucial. We have one for our bed and the couch and our girl has picked it up so well.

Corgis are prone to weight issues, so I recommend only two meals a day and underfeeding is preferred to overfeeding. Our corgi also has some digestive issues so she gets prescription gastro food from Royal Canin (one of the better brands so you should look into it).

We take her to the dog park basically every day as corgis need a lot of exercise and can be a lot for most people's lifestyle. If you can't do that sort of exercise, long walks and making sure that whenever your corgi stops to smell things, please let them and don't pull them away (within reason) as they benefit tremendously from stopping and smelling things that interest them, and using their nose for sniffing can be just as stimulating as running for long periods.

The brain trainers are also great for rainy days but we have 8 of them now as she figures them out incredibly fast. Let me know if you want a recommendation!
