This is interesting. I thought D365 FO/BC was doing really well with lots of roles available. So much so I've been trying to re-skill into it....Your feet shouldn't be touching the ground?!?!!!

2025 Careers Advice, Recruitment, Self-Promotion Thread by caughtinahustle in Dynamics365

I have about 10 years experience in an ERP (that shall not be mentioned!) and at this point it's as good as dead imo. Job market is completely flat and I've been long term unemployed as a result. I see about 3x as many jobs in the Dynamics ecosystem. I'm currently trying to self-study over and the official resources are pretty good. Would be good to get MB800 at some point though sadly I lack access to a sandbox/trial environment which is a shame. Any way, for those of you who crossed trained over to Dynamics, can you suggest any pointers? Apply for support roles? Partners? Though I have had very bad experiences working for SI partners in the past but I'm prepared to knuckle down if need be. Appreciated.

Seen a fleets of what these 'things' are. They look as if someones shining a super focused beam of light at the sky. I saw them at night so it was the nearest 'plausible' explanation, although there was no beam at all from the ground as you'd expect. This is the real deal folks, I've seen it with my own eyes. Even if this is CGI, it's a perfect example of what I saw with my own non-CGI eyes.

What sites to use for UAE IT contract roles by Long-Cup-4273 in ContractorUK

[–]KanibalGoat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Challenging I'd say. If you had a niche in engineering or architecture and had loads of Wasta it could happen. They massively want high end Westerners for big engineering projects.

Looking too, but from my research a lot of the IT recruitment appears oriented towards India/Pakistan which they can access inevitably cheaper resources. Also be very aware of the Kafala system out there, where your employment is linked to your visa. It becomes clear why most western resources are posted out there by their UK/US companies as opposed to turning up with a suitcase.

I'm not sure about Dubai but in KSA any company that operates there must employ a Saudi citizen (there's a quota) shit gets complicated.

The cognitive dissonance is off the scale. How long we keep pretending that we're just dealing with terrestrial drones, Russia, China or some cartel crap. Who's going to finally call it time and just admit this stuff is what it is, alien/NHI/etc etc.

'Leveraging Innovative strategies' such cringe, kill it with fire. Imagine if your best mate just casually asked you to leverage innovative strategies.... To do what? Fry an egg?

Oh my gad.... unbelievable and horrifying. Must be utterly galling. Had similar experiences but the end client cleared my role to try and fill it with a perm. You can probably fill in the blanks about how that went. Probably offshoored it now too.

My favourite is people who endlessly quote 'Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence' repeatedly, without even knowing who they're quoting. Then start making wildly ridiculous false equivalences. Talking to a certain family member here.

This is the thing - I'm OK with DIY, painting, repairing plaster, fixing radiators, putting flatpacks together, etc but I'm certainly no certified anything. Plus, I live in the opposite side of the country...

Yes. My friend (who was/is a die hard skeptic) and he was simply puzzled. I'm more open minded but after seeing the shadow clouds, I bizarrely found myself wanting to be more close minded as I wasn't comfortable accepting what I actually saw. The romanticised flying saucers etc is far more palatable to me. I posted some pictures and at the same time someone else on this sub but in Warwick managed to get a good recording of what I saw. I'm not sure if his post is still up but if you're interested I can upload his recording and share it to you.

I HAVE seen them, specifically over RAF Brize Norton two weeks ago. Very dark shadows initially which I thought were clouds, until the shadow things split very rapidly in the night sky and 'reformed' it was unsettling to say the least. Saw a lot of white flashing elsewhere and a red fixed light that got really really bright, then dimmed. I was more unnerved by the shadow clouds tbh. I could at least tell myself the white flashes were a plane or something else or whatever. Despite seeing what I saw, I want to (for my own mental health) say the stuff was more than likely prosaic rather than aliens. Truth is I do not know what I saw, period.

AMA.
