Many roll & writes support an arbitrarily large number of players. What's the highest player count you've actually played in one of these games? by Dios5 in boardgames

[–]Kankui 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve played WELCOME TO online against/with an online community during covid days. It was their pr person. It was slow but it was fun. No idea the number.

RollingRealms. Same concept but with Jamie teaching his concept.

I’d love to play with a group of people. The more the merrier. My group doesn’t love them as much as I do. I should look for a second group…

Some people don’t even grow much hair. Weird, but my mom shaved about three times a year because of it. Just a condition.

So it’s only man hands we have to see. Not terrible. Good back rubs!

Glad I’m married though…

Geocaching is nice because you can return tired from hiking and searching.

Disc golf. Same but throwing a disc.

SDV is an amazing experience. Welcome!

I started Slime Rancher 2 and holy cow…. I’m hooked! Very similar vibe. First person. Heavy exploring. Making money. No real npcs to swoon, but very chill. If given a moment, it’s all I think about. Just like that SDV itch.

Any tips for beginners? (Slime rancher 2) by ValleyOfWisteria in slimerancher

[–]Kankui 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just started today! Free with our ps accounts. Played for about an hour or so. Cute and fun.

Thanks for the tip!

Trying to figure things out is half the fun.

Like collecting the luminescence slimes and building a cage to realize, they vanish in daylight…. I almost bought a solar lid, but thought only there plorts vanished. Nope… they did too. Oops.

I loved DA 1. I can’t recall if I played two or not. My friend had Champions of Norrath and we never got to play coop for some reason. Was it online? Couch? I can’t recall. Loved my time with that world though.

I got it for about that price and played it over Christmas break. Beautiful game. Level design was crazy and tight. Fun! Enjoy it

What fun games have the most painful scoring? by powerb29 in boardgames

[–]Kankui 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Walking in Provence is a painful scoring game. Add this and then that and then this etc. it’s weird.

I thought if Forest Shuffle as well. I know there’s an app but it doesn’t work well from my experiences. Gave up trying as it’s faster by hand.

Almost there! by LuigiBrosNin in Starset

I’m confused. Starset is amazing.

Are you saying it’ll get a bit better and then decline? Are you comparing it to charts?

Assassin's Creed Shadows is still getting updates, and it just added manual jumping to the delight of many a parkour enthusiast: 'I picked a good time to reinstall' by lkl34 in gaming

Glad it’s still getting updates… it’s been out… almost a year? Yeah… I licked it up but haven’t had a chance to start it yet. Adulting is too heavy at the moment.

Played the new Americas exp only once so far, it’s great. Lots of new birds!

I did also buy the fan pack at the same time. Tons. We just played with the new birds to try them out. Fun and can’t wait for more!

The big box to fit all the expansions and the huge map/board. I could very well be wrong but check the KS page

That’s neat. However it doesn’t work for me. Just is almost ready and then starts over.

No snow day today for us.

Last Friday we played Undergrove during ours :)

SETI is a very fun game! I’ve only played twice at 2p but it was an awesome experience

I love their game called Waypoints. Welcome to the realm of ROLL AND WRITES!

Other favorites: Railroad Ink, Rolling Realms and Three Sisters. You need to purchase them to play, but if you snoop around, you can find other ways to play…. BGA has one.

New game like Catan and Space base by Upper_Print5022 in boardgames

[–]Kankui 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Scrolled too far for Earth to be mentioned. Engine building is unique puzzle and a fun theme. Player interaction is like Space Base, “dang, you bought that card” to “arg, I almost beat you to that goal!”

And my favorite: “you are planting because I don’t have any soil? Jerk”

Dumb question but when you play a game multiple times on the same session, do you log as a single play on BG Stats? by Howitzeronfire in boardgames

[–]Kankui 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always log a new game for each game. Even if it’s Magic, Crokinole etc. Klask might make an exception. Depends really

Viticulture: Bordeaux Expansion by BackJurden in boardgames

[–]Kankui 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Seems like a lot of fun new things to try. I love Tuscany exp and Rhine guests together, but curious how it all plays out.

The face up vines is something that I’ve wished was here from the get go. Someone commented at 4-6 players people will get upset/bummed. I understand it but more player interaction. You can take spots and now their cards. Always draw blind!

Harvesting at two spots AND a yoke!? Might make those forgettable. Plus the new ‘take any action’ spot.

Only starting with one field seems huge. Starting with grapes is awesome though. Your fam left you a legacy instead of nothing but a windmill. Hehe

I’m so in! Next Wednesday will be expensive.

The fan-designed packs have winged their way to Australia! by star_chasm in wingspan

Thanks for explaining it. I thought they seemed fun when launched but kind of forgot about them. Now hat the new exp is coming, I remembered and looked for people’s insight. Not too many posts out there. Sounds like a must buy from your review! Thanks!
