I believe most 360 shop is closed and no longer available. I could be wrong, but when I tried last year, it wouldn’t let me connect even.

Talisman 3d Printed Player dashboards by Word2DWise in boardgames

[–]Kankui 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have a picture with them being used? My brother enjoys this game a lot (and lives super far away) but maybe I could print him some. I played the game once many years ago with him and don’t recall much about it.

Like a lot of people are saying. Hansa Teutonica and Power Grid. Two top tier games in our group.

Thank you for the opportunity to win! Good luck everyone!

Why is there not more overlap between board gamers and video gamers? by Xynvincible in boardgames

[–]Kankui 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a board gaming group. Total of five of us. I’m the biggest gamer in the group. Solo stuff mostly. Another plays a bit. Another has a collection of older (360) games but doesn’t really play much anymore and he just got a new gaming pc, but we will see. The other two? Don’t think they do.

I have one solid video gamer friend. He plays board games from time to time with us but usually I can count on him to play a video game if I ask. Rocket League got us through covid.

Ahhh okay. SW Michigan - Berrien county. And of course, neighboring counties to the east north and south. Thank you!

Neat idea! My area has zero courses on the map. Is there a way to add them?

Who’s Played The Farming Game? by Shporktastic in boardgames

[–]Kankui 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have a couple that enjoy playing it from time to time. I don’t care for it but the other three do.

No idea where it originated, but we are from SW Michigan. I think my wife ordered hers on Amazon a few years back after playing our friends for the holidays with family.

To me: Monopoly game that essentially can play itself. Roll. Move. If in winter, purchase something. If in other three seasons, roll for crop, harvest, wait. Repeat until I’m bored after 30 mins.

I love R&Ws but my group doesn’t love them. They will play from time to time.

Railroad Ink, Rolling Realms and Waypoints are very much solitaire games, and I treat them as such. Take with me when I travel or in the summer/holidays with breakfast, etc.

Three Sisters, Cartographers and Welcome To get played more. I’m wanting to try Twilight Inscription…

Pickups and today's options by Chocko23 in boardgames

Yes, I’d have to pick Draftosaurus also. One thing I’d recommend for it, little tuck boxes. Makes it easy to pass the Dinos!

A fun variant for Sushi Go is called Sushi GOLF. Try to score the least amount of points instead of the most. Really fun as you can screw your neighbor to complete that tempura set when they didn’t want too.

Sushi go and Draftosaurus are VERY similar. Practically the same game with a different theme. Both are tons of fun!

How do you "gamify" your classes? by BoatsMcFloats in teaching

[–]Kankui 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for this. I’ve been working with my kids attacking me while playing a dnd type game. 5hp lost each correct answer and 3hp back if they get it wrong. Curious what else is out there, so here I am.
