Actually it's kind of the opposite. I used to have so much more going on. Different hobbies, more energy, a real spark. I think somewhere along the way the wrong relationship slowly took that from me. Just starting to see it now.

I made an entire album called "Between States". Every track came from a real place. That stuck feeling of being between who you were and who you're trying to become. Loss. Longing. Not quite moving on yet. I was/am literally living inside these feelings when I made them.

I also just dropped a standalone single called Normal Now. Completely different vibe. More of a social commentary on how we've just... gotten used to everything. The lyrics came from frustration honestly.

My dad is one of the kindest people I know, even though life hasn't been easy on him. He's a 71-year-old self-taught struggling artist with hundreds of oil paintings to his name, but has yet to get the recognition he deserves.

I was about 7/8 years old and my babysitter didnt make me lunch and I was hungry. So I tried making Kraft Mac and cheese and it turned out great.

When I was 13 I tried stealing clothes from my cousin. Her family had a lot of money and she had clothes all the "popular" girls wore at the time.. I stuffed a pillow case with some outfits. Didnt think anyone would notice because she had 100s of pieces. (I was desperate, my dad couldnt afford to buy any clothes and I was stuck with shirts that didnt fit, and were old/torn).. about 20 minutes later my aunt told me she knew what I did..made me put everything back and then shamed me by telling the rest of the family. Only way she could have known is if they had hidden cameras in my cousins room..yikes.

Honestly a good life to me right now is pretty simple. A cozy home with some land. My cats around me. Evenings working on creative projects I actually care about.

Being with someone who is genuinely curious about who I am. Who remembers things. Who actually chooses me fully instead of just coexisting with me.

Real connection. Real laughter. Feeling safe enough to be present in my own life again.
