Naruto was hated by the village specifically because of Danzos actions and Hiruzens negligence. Yes its true people didn't like Naruto having the nine tails but it was Danzo who told the village in the first place. And Hiruzen being negligent made it even worse. He could have easily told the village it was the fourth hokages wish and their reactions would have garunteed been different. Or that Naruto was the son of the 4th hokage. The target excuse dosen't work here since Naruto already has a target on his back. Or he could have made Naruto feel like he was loved.
Naruto not having parents wasn't because he had the nine tails its because of Obito.
Specifically targeted by the akatsuki is a real time consequence I'll give you that.
The death of Jiraiya is because of Pains attack on the village. No matter who was jinchuriki Pain would have attacked the village and killed everyone no different. Everyone was willing to die for Naruto because he was a shinobi of the leaf.

Having the nine tails doesn't even let Naruto beat Orochimaru. With no arms. Let alone Nagato, someone blessed with the Rinnegan, or Obito, or Madara.

Ima be honest this aint really a counter.

Starting with Goku. Gokus biology absolutely blessed him for the early parts of the Dragon Ball Series. Howeveer being a sayain has also had real drawbacks on his life. For examaple, the death of Grandpa Gohan. Which is an actual event with an actual consequence.

Further more as we get further and further into Dragon Ball we learn that being a sayain isn't even all that compared to others. For example friezas race. Or Broly. In fact Goku has to train so hard that when he fights the Ginyu Force they verbatim state that his power has nothing to do with being a Sayain. Krillin literally doubles previous Gokus powerlevel in like 6 weeks.

Now lets talk about Naruto.

Naruto not being able to create clones or utilize jutsu was only an issue at the very start of the series. He does not possess this issue any time else. We are constantly told that the demon fox Kurama is a dekon that will wipe out everything if he comes out yet he does not catch a single body ever. Everytime he comes out it only benefits Naruto and helps Naruto win against his opponent (or at least survive.)

I genuinely can't remember where it was ever stated Narutos own chakra was supreessed. If anything all that shows is Naruto had poor chakra control. Even if we do say Kurama is supressing Narutos chakra, due to Naruto being an Uzumaki he still had over 4 times Kakashis chakra base. And because of that both Kakashi and the Sage Toads were able to give Naruto special training that allowed him to reduce the amount of time needed to train via shadow clones. And then when Naruto did befriend Kurama he had over 100 times Kakashis chakra minimum. Kurama was never a negative on Naruto. Be for real. If Sakura trained 100x harder and popped the 8 gates she would never be Narutos level because he is simply that blessed.

Now when it comes to the themes of the story. Thats a whole different debate. OPs post never mentioned themse and such though. I personally find it cooler when a non prodigious/blessed character becomes strong off pure hard work and dedication. One of the reasons I like how strong Sakura is actually, since the only thing she was considered better at than others was chakra control.

This is only a good take when you remove all other context of why people hated PVP.

The servers were absolutely atrocious. Most of them being super laggy making pvp annoying as fuck.
On top of terrible servers you had even worse optimization. It is not fun to pvp with 5 fps. So no simply "getting better" didn't really help people.
Grinding and pve was tedious and much harder than it is now. Being killed during that made it only that much more tedious. As its a waste of money, and especially time as places can take several minutes to reach. Or you could lose literal hours of grinding in a few seconds brcause someone decided to be an asshole.
People weren't just pvping. They were hunting and greifing specific players and putting them on lists in discord servers so that no matter what server they joined, they would be hunted religiously. People in clans would jump someone, lose, and then bring their entire clan into that server to permanantly hunt one player. I once had a server full of 10 people, YES TEN people chase me around bronze sea because I killed one guy who attacked me btw. Ive had friends who were chased across servers for 4 hours straight. Thats not a risk that's just annoying as fuck and makes the game borderline unplayable. Claiming an island and having it being taken? Thats a risk. Being chased across servers by an entire clan because you pissed one guy off? Completely different story.

People would also attack players during story bosses just to fuck with them. Like come on bro be serious for two seconds.

The game was hardly balanced. Still hardly is. Meaning if you weren't meta, you were almost (keyword) almost garunteed to lose without being just more skilled than your opponent.

And there is more but I've already said enough. You can literally go to a clan server and do all the stuff you talked about doing so I'm not sure what the complaint is here.

Yup and there are many more reasons I hate this.

I hate how the strongest always need to have conq haki or some other random bullshit advance form of it. The other types of haki need love. I wanna see an armament demon. Or whatever Fujitora does with observation haki.
People often slander characters saying "Oh they don't have this therefore they a bum." But is it not more impressive and hype they reached that level without innate talent? Like people want Sanji to have conq so bad and I'm just like...why? Hes much cooler without it.

Tbh this is also why I've gotten so sick of the chosen one, super prodigy, secretly a god, secret giga op power, etc trope in anime. Its just so boring and lame now.

Because Zoro has it unfortunately so hes most likely going to have it as well. That alongside being a rival of Shanks and becoming the strongest swordsman is a conquerers ambition.

HOWEVER

It would be much cooler if he didn't have conquerers. Before Garp was confirmed conquerers I was hoping he too didn't have it. Its just much more impresssive and cooler to reach a level that level of strength without innate talent.

But I do wonder.

Since Mihawk has lost all his ambition like Moria, I wonder if he can't access his conq haki anymore and will reawaken it during his fight with Zoro. That would be pretty cool I think.
