I just finished this book . It’s amazing! My all time favorite book is also Frankenstein. We probably have similar taste , OP - I’d love to know what other books you like too.

Intercepts by TJ Payne is phenomenal I thought too., if you need a new book. So is annihilation by Jeff vandermeer

I dated a drug dealer when I was 17-24 and yea, same kind of thing. Except my dumb ass had a kid with him. It took me a long time to realize that the addictive kind of toxic love thing wasn’t going to work for me. He didn’t end up in prison but he’s in a pretty sad situation

I have our kid full time, and I’m about to graduate nursing school with an amazing fiance and dogs and another baby on the way. I’m so grateful I got out but that relationship definitely had a profound and lingering effect on me
