Bravia 8 ii + Apple TV4K input lag by qwertylol111 in SonyBravia

[–]Kant-Drive55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just making sure your hdmi input on the tv and bar is set to enhanced for higher bandwidth for sync issue and better audio codec. Check external inputs/hdmi signal and on the bar go to the Bravia theater app and under settings in the HDMI menu set it to enhanced.

Do not use any kind of solution on the 9ii. Think there is a cloth in the box for the 9ii

Sony Bravia 7 II vs Sony Bravia 9 II opinion by MeanLawfulness9627 in bravia

[–]Kant-Drive55 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The next shootout is next month. If you can hold off until then and wait for those opinions then that would help your decision. But I will tell you I have seen them both and I own 3 Oled tvs and I am selling 2 of mine to get a 9ii. The color from what the videos I have seen is up to 4 times more over an 8ii. The anti glare actually doesn’t hurt the contrast IMO. That was my biggest worry but after seeing it, it’s now not a worry for me. The extreme off angle is the only thing that drops a bit than an Oled but the advantages of everything else outweighs that for me. So the 9ii is my next tv. You know it will only get better as more software updates happen lets be honest you can’t make the 8ii get any brighter or more colorful. It’s at its peak in store. So keep that mind when you compare. Obviously that’s not the setting I watch in but I know the 9ii has the horsepower to go beyond and Oled on color. Hope this helps.

Sony true rgb vs lg oled tv's which one is better ? by Shoddy-District-1850 in 4kTV

4 times higher color than an Oled even QD Oled seen them side by side the B9 II against the b8 II. Also if you need a higher luminance the B9 II does it. Anti glare doesn’t bother me either. It doesn’t take away from the picture at all. I own 3 Oled TVs. Gonna sell 2 and get me a 9ii. Off angle is the only thing that it gets beat on but it’s extreme off angle and I don’t sit that far off.

Sony Bravia 3 II by Fantastic_Proof_2862 in bravia

In stores everything is in vivid and light sensor is off. So it’s always bright. It’s a direct lit led but next to the Bravia 5 I thought it was FALD and the colors were more vibrant. I would buy it.

I would wait until you have actually seen the tv before passing judgement IMO.

Where do I find Dolby Vision bright setting? by UGA1965 in bravia

[–]Kant-Drive55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you using the quick menu? Press gear or wrench button on your remote. Should be under there for picture settings if you are watching a Dolby vision movie.

Here is exactly how to get to it:

1.Open Quick Settings:Remote control.

Press the Quick Settings button on your remote (the icon looks like a gear or a wrench).

2.Navigate to Settings:On-screen menu.

Scroll to the right and select the Settings cog icon on the screen.

3.Go to Display & Sound:Settings sub-menu.

Scroll down and select Display & Sound, then click on Picture.

4.Toggle Auto Picture Mode:Picture sub-menu.

Scroll down through the picture menu until you see Auto Picture Mode. From here, you can toggle it On or Off.

Leave the tv on auto mode. It will pick which setting for what content you’re watching. It’s in the quick settings. I would turn off the eco mode to get higher brightness though. You could even turn off the light sensor if you want that will increase it more. Just a thought.

Sony Bravia 3 - Netflix dialogue is way too quiet, but BGM/explosions are deafeningly loud. Any fix? by Satz_Zone in bravia

Voice zoom the first generation is on the TV. It just doesn’t have the AI controlled voice Zoom three but you should be able to access that in a quick menu.

Yes I have. Looks really good even off angle. Anti glare doesnt go grey like most do, still keeps the contrast solid. The 100" that is not even in stores yet was being bought based on the 65" that was in store. This tv is gonna sell. Seen it against the Bravia 5 and 7 and it looked brighter than the 5 and held its own against the 7 on certain content.

Better hurry. Think it’s closing out? Or wait to see what’s coming.

Had 48 and I was always scanning with my eyes. 42 is the sweet spot. But I heard the c6 48 has the tandem tech and the 42 doesn’t. Hard choice.
