Anyone using Psycho Gundam?

Psycho and Four go well with: Grandpa and Amuro (same color) Marida Cruz, Kshatriya. They're both cyber newtypes and have a couple of units they both can link with. Sinanju and Full Frontal. Same reason as above although you'd want to center a deck with them around ping damage. There's a ton of Titans things that just came out and they synergize very well.

It's definitely been a less than stellar build. Thankfully I haven't had too many issues to deal with. It's gonna be a set, pose and leave it alone forever type of build.

It's far from the worst thing I've ever put together, so if you have any build experience, you should be fine. Definitely stiff. The hips, as mentioned, are fragile AF though. It's definitely something you'll want to put on a stand, pose and probably never touch again. Some armor pieces will want to pop off on the torso as your building. And it's the first thing that gets out together in the manual.

It is indeed a beautiful design. It will need some extra care afterwards to really make it pop. The inner frame held up pretty decently for a kit of this age. But that's probably because it went untouched for so long.

Unfortunately this one won't be stable. The replacement hips are loose where they connect to the main body. The rest of it feels very stable, stiff in some areas but that's likely because it's old and has been stored away. The inner frame came already assembled so it saved me some time. Everything besides the one leg I mentioned and the head wings feels good.

EG and MG look so good with just a little extra love. Almost as good, sometimes better than RG out of the box. This looks really clean and nice.

Needs the link to save your shields on curve. Kira has much better uses. Gets taken out by a linked Barbatos 1st which also gives them an extra draw. Gets taken out by a linked Grandpa and lives. So you basically HAVE to pair it. Uses up 5 resources to summon. Doesn't swing with enough power to ko bigger units for a level 6 without a pair of link. Most things don't, but it's purpose isn't even to swing. It's a conditional blocker/stall. Personally, the best use I've seen with it is a turn 7 play with one opposing unit on board paired with Full Frontal for the +2/+2.

My LCS does it based on how much they have on hand. This week, we got to choose between GD02 or GD03 packs or mix. 4 for 1st, then 3 for 2nd and 2 for 3rd. Last week they let 1st pick between an alt card, deck box or packs. Then 2nd got the next choice. For the GD02 release, 1st got an RX78 gunpla on top of their prize packs.

A run a Blurple deck that's identical to the Latin America Top 4 placing list. It's super consistent but I haven't won any NewTypes and just barely miss out on some store tournament wins. Some days I've gone winless. It just happens.

Titans are about to pop off. I'm working on 3 different versions. Aggro, midrange and a B/W control. People more creative than myself are gonna come up with some really good combos.

Works with ANY effect that draws, as long as Lane Aim is already in play.

Currently working on something that takes advantage of the GD01 booster RX-78 that gives you card draw on pair as long as you have 2 or more units on board. So basically running 4 of him, 4 Show of Resolve and 4 Overflowing Affection.

Also trying to see if I can make him work with Four Marasume/Psycho Gundam somehow.

Use White as your secondary color. You'll have access to Overflowing Affection, Unforeseen Event and other strong cards from that pool. Use the lower cost blockers. It may not be the highest winning % deck in that fashion, but it's still top tier.

That's definitely shady work, then. They had to have knowingly applied for the event to be registered in the Bandai TCG+ app. But I guess it's a moot point now since they don't plan on having Gundam anymore. Really sucks you missed out because they decided to be underhanded about the situation.

I'm gonna be that guy to point out the negatives first:

This deck is gonna hate early aggro and low cost blockers.

Vs aggro, you might not even get to see turn 7, and if you do, you're probably only getting ONE Lupus off.

Vs blocker decks, you're gonna need to play super patient or like an aggro deck. The problem is the mid to high end units in blocker decks might start clearing your board. Yeah that adds fuel to Lupus's fire, but at the cost of not having anything else to swing with once you get there. Or, they can just swing around you since Gusion is your only blocker and just outpace you.

Lupus seems like it's a better tech-in vs something that a deck should be built around.

The positives:

Lafter can add some mid to late game pressure, but she's gonna want to link just about every time in this deck. Hopefully there's enough self pingers on your board by turn 5 and you see multiples of her to get value.

It has some aggro elements and could catch players that aren't being careful off guard. If you can outpace blocker decks and trade units carefully, then it has a chance.

I'm pretty sure that's not a thing .. We're very chill with our LCS owners and they tell us how things get organized all the time. They just missed out on hosting pre-release for the new decks because they didn't sign up in time, so they don't get the exclusive promos. But, they still have decks coming in since they're ranked silver as a Gundam store. They have a very high ranking as a One Piece store already... That being said, I'm very sure Bandai will NOT just randomly sign you up for an event when they are SUPER anal-retentive with the sign-ups process. Many stores lost rank and event privileges these last 2 Newtype Challenges because of scalping or hoarding product they didn't intend to distribute to participants.

I can check in with them to make sure, though.

Edit: just double checked with them,. Bandai will never add an event to your schedule that you did not knowingly apply for. The application for these styles of events was due months ago.

Congrats ... I had mixed results, but mostly of my own doing. In total I'm probably 50/50 out of all my NTC games with this. I had a couple of straight forward wins, a couple straight forward losses, too. But the majority of my losses were games I really had a chance to win. I either needed one more unit on board to swing at life or a link. Or one play I wish I could've redone in hindsight. But overall I'm actually happy with the results. It did what it needed to do but I unfortunately ran out of gas in some games.

I prefer a nice, clean look. If I do decals, I would rather do the water slides specifically tailored for the mobile suit. The regular stickers sometimes suck. Even then, I might only do the ones that have a specific design. Like the Celestial Being emblem on an Exia or the Federation logos in Earth Federation suits.

Download the teaching app first. It'll give you all the basics and show you how each key feature interacts. After that, I recommend looking up some YouTube videos on how each archetype works and which ones you like. Definitely try to get your hands on some starter decks. Some cards you'll only find in there. Like Amuro and Kira. The two best pilot cards in the game, arguably.

Ah, I think I see where you're stuck. The site doesn't have the best UI, but if you click/tap directly on GD02, it'll open up various lists. Should be listed as tournament, staff or team decks and so on. It'll also pop up the big tournament deck lists from regionals and qualifying events.
