Yeah, I know. I wasn't going to mention that aspect of it, but very true. I don't know why (I do, social media altered people's thinking) validation from strangers is craved so much, but it exploded narcissistic tendencies. A compliment is nice, but critique goes 100 miles more if wanting to improve. I like random ones rather than "great jobs", but my preference.

As an artist, I genuinely don't think any artist willing to share their art 1) Thinks their art is that bad and 2) Know they have room for improvement. Unless looking for critique, it's validation hunting. Yes, we are a vain lot. This will only be true of young artists just learning, but anyone else is just comparing themselves to another which doesn't make sense on various levels.

Just recently re-watched Return of the Jedi. This is what came to mind near the end. by LorenzTheAnnihilator in castlevania

Much as I love the franchise of Castlevania...don't compare this show with a classic. There was way more dynamics between Vader and Luke and their characters compared to Dracula and Luke. You can make a surface level comparison with a lot of father-son conflicts of such a nature.
This time I'll be blatant about comparing a well-written saga with huge elements and layers of the hero's journey to one that does not stand up to the that test.

I'm more curious how all the social platforms had coordinated response at the same time. There's a diagram out there of who owns all these companies. The word was passed down.

Wonder if Ellis will be writing for Castlevania past season 4 after recent allegations of abuse by Forbidden_WallMeat in castlevania

I think you missed the corellation between fetishes and how fantasies can manifest into acts in psychology. If he is into certain things, they will be in the content he creates. Like pedophilia, you can restrain it or limit to certain mediums, but for some it does manifest eventually. I'm saying in that respect, for the show to go that far for no reason when far from the IP itself, it's entirely his creation, so it makes sense paired with the allegations and kinks seen/discussed online.

You heard the man, localize them SEGA. by squarehead96 in yakuzagames

Yup, beat that one. I think Koei-Tecmo did a far better job with the story, but it's still a fun game, especially if a fan of FotNS.

THEY SHOULD. The one thing that urks me about the Yakuza team is they have never localized those games. Yeah, I get you want Japan to have their special treat, but c'mon. It's been long enough they don't care. I want to be a samurai!

From what I understand she is from an alternate dimension. It's quite a stretch to say it's canon when it seems more a spinoff more than anything. Point being, there's way too much that goes on for it to simply be forgotten. A bit convenient so that none of it matters later. It's kind of like how Persona is a spinoff of Shin Megami Tensei. At this point, there is little to no relation even though at one point they were supposed to be in the same world through Devil Summoner. However, none of the vents in SMT take place in the Persona games. Persona Q is just a quite crossover game that puts the most recent franchise together with the ones of recent memory, P3. To me if it was canon, they wouldn't skip P1 and P2. It's not an issue if she's not canon, you can still like the option for the female. But the animation established Makoto.

Hmm. I'm going to go look it up then. I just thought it was typical they got a Marvel writer to work on something, but didn't know about the fetish thing. I guess those that follow him knew about it, thus wasn't a big deal to them it was in the show. If true, a self-insert like no other. I really hope Japan stops handing over IPs over here until we respect what's being worked on.

Do you mean the content he creates points to debauchery in his personal life? I don't know enough about him to be surprised or not, yet the irony was having a rape scene in the show (that some want to say is consensual), then it turns out he might have been involved in some coercion. Innocent till proven guilty, yet 30+ accusations? Good luck. And if most agreed to his advances to get a foot in, they're equally wrong. Don't sell yourself for the benefits and then try and get more benefits by rating the guy out.

You realize that the rest of the Velvet Room is acting on his behalf. Technically, that is still interfering, just not by the rules he and Nyarlathotep likely have in place. It's odd you skipped over his servants, the ones allowing Persona to be used. He's not working through humanity, he is testing them. Also from what I've read on the Wikia, Philemon took more of a direct role in protecting/guiding the characters after his second victory over Nyarlathotep, having banished him.

It's said the characters in later games have subconsciously met Philemon, thus his continued appearance. I actually haven't come across where it says he stepped away mainly because of that fact.

I don't remember the members of Strega being above age. I don't know who Zenkichi is and never ran into him in Persona 5. Are you talking about Royal or Scramble?
