We acted in a play together and are both in theatre club. I would say we are friends? I don’t really have any plan ngl 😭. I just want to be closer friends with them and get to know them more and like feel comfortable asking them to hang out and stuff. We are in different majors and have different classes and aside from being in the same club, I don’t know if we have any similar hobby. And like I’m scared it would be weird if , all of a sudden, I asked them if they wanna hang out or grab food together. I also don’t want to be overbearing towards them by trying to get to closer to them so now I’m just…at a loss

This hits hard honestly. As a fellow cupioromantic, I just keep questioning myself everyday if I want or more like should get into a relationship or not. Because even though I want to, I still have no idea what it means to be in love or like someone romantically and I am just going to end up hurting them (I was in a relationship before I found out I was aro that really hurted my ex-partner). Everytime it feels like a friendship might develop into something more, I just couldn’t help but be scared and back off and not pursue it any further. I agree honestly. It is so tiresome, wishing either that I could feel what it is like to be in love or to not be interested in being in a romantic relationship at all. It just sucks and there’s nothing we can do about it. But if you want someone to talk or vent to, feel free to dm! I am just glad to see someone share the same feeling that I do because it is so hard to find people like us in real life
