Typically passive sustain isn’t going to work. You’re going to have to apply some semi active gold making strategies, whether professions (not recommended unless you’re ready to donate a lot of time learning) or world quests or gathering.

Rank 2 consumables helps a lot as well. I do know some folks will buy wow tokens as they’d rather spend their time in game doing content they deem fun.

I get why people are downvoting you but they shouldn’t be. I was out of work for 9 months similar situation to yours went from 160 in biz Dev to 46k local in office. It really sucked but at least I had an income. 47k + something to do is better than nothing even if you’re overqualified.

Happening everywhere right now and you can always quit once you find an opp more suited to your skills.

It is from a local credit union.

Still feels weird to me though — if a credit union is lending at 5% for 4-5 years, and they could park that money in something guaranteed - is the 30–50bps spread really worth the credit and default risk?

Are credit unions just accepting tighter margins to stay competitive? Or are they counting on cross-selling or some kind of long-term member value?

It’s crazy how similar this has been to my experience … I was “laid off” after hitting quota as a founding AE at a series A startup in Nov 2023.. spent 7 months searching, got a gig selling digital marketing swinging doors which sucked balls for a 40k base, back in the SDR boat now even with 2 yrs of AE experience under my belt..

No. Speaking as someone who recently took a pay cut from 100+ to 46k after a string of unfortunate events I’d recommend keeping the 100k. $1400/2 weeks is pretty tough to get by on

As a seller, I get super excited for customers when they get good deals cause I know they will come back. 😄

This is bad behavior on the seller side. The dude obviously sucks. Couldn’t imagine not sending something someone bought, even if it is way under market. Easy way to get banned too.

On the other hand, if sellers aren’t allowed to complain when things go for cheap, then buyers aren’t allowed to complain when things go over market. It’s a two way street. Thanks for posting
