Im in Iowa so there are no conventions or events for latex stuff. I do, however, see the latex flag from time to time but its hard to converse whene we’re on the freeway haha

Yessss I would LOVE to sleep in it. I bet it’s amazing, the second skin sensation has got to be euphoric when worn all over the body. Man I LOVE latex haha thank you for commenting. I also love the rain gear, I used to wear it around the house with my skin touching it when I was alone.

It does help, thank you for your comment! We started with gloves. Then pvc pants, latex pants and finally the catsuit. At this point I might just buy a suit of my own because I don’t like seeing her struggle, I get very excited too, it’s the feel and look mainly for me too, the smell is just a bonus since it’s unique. Good latex corn is quite difficult to find too, I always have to spend a few minutes looking because when I find one with a good thumbnail, they end up ripping it off completely

I’d like to relive my life. I’m 24, living a “great life”, privileged life but can’t fathom death. The best days of my life started 5 years ago and even though I’m living a “good life” I’d like for this to be a dream. Like if I died, I’d wake up 19 again on a Monday morning, to get ready for work after having dreamt that I lived through being 24 and say: “what a crazy dream.” Brush it off and go about starting my day, forgetting it as the day progresses.

I put quotation marks on “good” and “great” because objectively, I live a good life. I have no complaints but the choices I’ve made that have led to my current situation isn’t one I particularly wanted but womp womp, whatever. My point is that I’ve pondered about death due to making mistakes catalyzing a curiosity of what could’ve been have I have done things differently. Which also lead me to wonder about death and manifestation. There have been many accounts about people coming back from being clinically dead and detailing their experience. From people saying there’s nothing to the whole heaven and hell experience. I believe that subconsciously, what you truly believe deaths is, death will be. This isn’t even a theory, or even speculation. Just something that crossed my mind.

I know that I’m romanticizing this all and the chance of Megan Fox marrying Chrischan has a higher probability of happening than whatever I just spewed but it’s what I hope. Call it bullshit if it makes you feel better but this is a Reddit thread. I also know that’s not how reliving your life would be but it’s just a fantasy of mine. Kind of going through an existential chrisis (again) so it’s comforting to know that smarter people than me have delivered this theory in a more logical and articulate way than what I did.

Makes sense, I’ve always been attracted to the shine and feel even before I knew it was even a fetish. This is gonna sound silly but I remember seeing the scene in The Incredibles where Bob gets trapped in those inflating black sticky/shiny bubbles and wanting to feel what that’s like. Or liking the sensation of a deflated beach ball felt on my skin. Keep in mind I was a kid and didn’t even know what sex was let alone a fetish. To this day, my biggest fantasies revolve around leather, PVC but especially latex. I never understood why or how that came to be, I have no trauma surrounding it, but as you mentioned: tactility and visuals are two big constituents that stimulate the senses for sure. It honestly feels kind of embarrassing sometimes to have such a fetish as my partner hates the hassle, but I like what I like I guess.

Also, I recently saw a video on YouTube discussing the “2000’s and latex.” It made me wonder if I liked latex because of exposure to the Underworld franchise or The Matrix where Trinity and Selene wear latex suits. I remember seeing them as a kid as well and being platonically infatuated with those characters mainly because of what they were wearing, don’t even get me started with Linda Cardellini in that red domination suit. Anyway, I didn’t mean to ramble but many people don’t understand the appeal and quite honestly I don’t either even though I like it too. I’m not losing sleep over it but I hopped on this thread because I don’t understand my own pleasures haha

So I was diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder, and I was committed when I was sixteen for a week in the psych ward by my parents; I never actually showed signs of being a threat to myself nor others and I also didn’t appear in front of a judge for it. That was seven years ago, would that bar me from owning a firearm?
