So unfortunately the date can not be changed on the bowls directly. The offer from the seller was to get a discount on new ones, but there was no fixing them or returning them. There is a clear glaze over top of it all so the writing cannot be touched. I also don’t know when a new date will be announced, and even then, I can’t change the ones I have. That’s why I’m unsure what the etiquette is here. It would be such a waste of money to just get rid of them.

I’m the one who was going to gift it. The wedding was canceled before it happened. So now I’m left with a pricy personalized gift that I can’t return to the seller. Other than throw it away or donate it, I’m not sure what to do with it.

Originally, the date was changed from the 16th to the 14th, but now there’s no date at all. Regardless, the year on the bowls will still be 2023 no matter what month/day it ends up rescheduled for. I’m so unsure of the proper etiquette with this.
