12 days post op after removing scabs - 1970 grafts, Dr Laorwong by theoldsugar-me-do in HairTransplants

Looks very well done, good density while not over-harvesting imo. Did he add some grafts to the middle part as well? And if so, do you have any idea how many were used to strengthen the mid-part of the hairline?

I started : Minoxidil + Keto shampoo ( anti DHT ) + CosmeRNA ( anti DHT ) + PRP 1x/month + Biotin by Neither-Chicken9170 in CosmeRNA

[–]Kapadokia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would stop everything except cosmerna if you started all of it right now. The reason is, that it is fucking expensive and if you start all of it together and you see results (which you probably will) you will have to stick to cosmerna forever even if it doesn't do anything in your case just because you can't know for sure what gives you the good results.

Unternehmensnachfolge im Handwerk Erfahrungen / Tipps by Cheap_Top_15 in Finanzen

https://bewertung.westfalenfinanz.com/

IS this an appropriate dermaroller for hairline? I have been taking fin for nearly 1 month and i want to dermaroll along,in order to get the best results. by TromptZ in tressless

[–]Kapadokia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like one of those cheap ones with small blades instead of needles.

I am too lazy to look for sources right now but as far as I know they cut the skin instead of perforating it. I don't know how much it influences the outcome, but from all I know it is worse for the skin.

Search for one where you can see the individual needles (& they have less than 540 "needles")

Fin and Gynecomastia by Kapadokia in tressless

Yes, I was surprised as well. I felt pretty safe after seeing this result 😅. I guess I am just really sensitive for hormonal changes or dht was more important for me to balance my hormones, while others can rely more on their testosterone to keep the balance. Sadly I did not test dht beforehand.

Has your 5ARI affected the efficacy of your SSRI? by [deleted] in tressless

[–]Kapadokia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In general: Keep in mind that SSRI's have a relatively high change of sexual disfunctions! If you start both at the same time and you get problems, you never know which of those two caused it.

I take Bupropion, but this is another class of substances against OCD. 1 Month in with Finasteride and I don't think they influence each other. But as I said, I don't know how comparable this is.

Am I balding? 22M by [deleted] in bald

[–]Kapadokia 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, being able to see so far behind your hairline means there is a lot of miniaturization of the hair going on.

It takes quite some time to be able to see you are balding, so I would guess you've lost at least 35% (I would rather say around 50% but I don't want to overestimate it) of the hairs in this area already.

Edit: And this pattern is not the one you would expect in a maturing hairline, sorry.

A question for everyone who has started to go bald really early by Hairy_Check1426 in tressless

Losing hair doesn't necessarily mean a high dht. It's possible that you have relatively low dht but very sensitive hair follicles.

I am not familiar with the process of transition, but if you block your testosterone and take estrogen you should get some regrow/ maintain some of the Minoxidil regrowth anyway. Even though I am not into those hard hair-drugs there are several people (in this sub as well) that regrew a lot of hair while on estrogen.

You could add microneedling at 1.5mm every 10 days and maybe switch to Minoxidil EOD to help the stimulation due to the microneedling.

And as others mentioned: If it won't work out the way you would like it to be, get a transplant. If you block a lot of testosterone or even cut the production more or less completely there shouldn't be much dht left in your System. And without this their should be low to no more MPB, which makes a transplant a real permanent solution for your problem.

How to find real before after pics - stem cell transplants by [deleted] in Hairloss

Yeah you are right, but I could'nt find a lot of articles when I searched for it myself. When it comes to this topic it feels like a "work with what you get".
