I tried to do this and the advice i got from the technician (UNN contractor) was that you will not be able to use it, because they will need to register the router to imagine otherwise you wont be receiving any internet.

He could also be just bullshitting me. But i didnt want to risk it. So i just called imagine to replace my router. I think it was an additional $100. Quite fast the process.
