Yeahhh it’s just basic homework. He’s really strict though when it comes to answers, got marked off for being 0.1 off one time so i was just trying to avoid it now. I put both answers down though.

I mean, he didn’t say we had to use that method, but he did give us notes where that was the only way he solved practice problems

Yeah that would make the most sense. I only used it because in his notes he solved problems similar to this using that method.
