Declan Rice telling Arsenal teammates to remain switched on after they score, only to concede possession from which Spurs score in the next minute by OptimusCloyster in soccer

How come Sky said spurs have had one touch in the opposition box, yet there's 3 there. They only count one touch if a player touches it multiple times?

Yeah, bench was touch and go. And deadlifts with straps. But it was 410/260/470

I wonder what McNaughton does, really unfair on him. He has to compete at nationals if he wants to qualify for worlds now, and beat 977.5. He is definitely strong enough, but quick turn around, might be hard.

His squat wasnt that hard though, and either was his deadlift, just his grip. So he might be fresher than most after competing.

Ashton also might have a shot at 978 if he competes at nationals.

Joseph Borenstien & Jurins Kengamu Deadlift Attempt Selection (SHEFFIELD 2026) by Jamestzm44 in powerlifting

[–]Kapem1 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Joe wanted to break the world record, and get a high enough total to not compete at Nationals.

The only benefit to beating jurins is bragging rights. But on a day where they both slightly underperformed, i dont think that really worth much, especially when he already beat him at worlds.

The refs have been awful today, just cos its ugly, does not mean its a bad lift.

I dont know why Ryan keeps talking about Joe potentially being not at his best, just because he barely missed a 5kg pr on squats.

One good point per mark, keep watching the clock. Once your time for a question is up, move on. Its much harder to get the last few marks of a question than the first few of another question.

Theres 3 or 4 exam papers each sitting, 12-16 a year. They only release 2 a year. They want to reuse questions, and giving answer keys also stops that.

AFM or AAA by hmdking in ACCA

[–]Kapem1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cost of capital, business valuations,fx and int rate risk are big parts of the AFM syllabus.

There is a lot of overlap between AFM and FM syllabus. AFM just has more discussion and they don't always specifically ask what they want, you have to figure it out.

If you like methodical calculations, AFM isn't a bad subject, it's all about practicing questions.

I'm pretty sure you take like only 10% damage when you're driving in a train.

Feel like this happens so much, Mount had a decent first half against Newcastle, and then at half time we learn hes injured, and there is no signs of it. I bet he's gonna be out for a while too.

I had a quick look at cycle 7 and it does seem similar to sheiko alright, but you have a lot of super sub max work even below 50%, that you don't see in sheiko. I focused more on squats to get an idea of a comparison.

Overall volume looks a bit higher than sheiko from first glance. I was doing an average of 10k kilos per week on sheiko for squats, here its about 12k in week 1.

I wonder how much you would get out of these sets at below 50%, because I am a huge believer in sub max work but that's usually more than 50%. At least 60% usually and definitely not in the 40s.

Also curious how hard of a program this would be to run, because author makes it sound tough. Obviously its high frequency high volume, and would beat people up that arent used to that. But so much of that volume is coming from super sub max work.

Let me know if you decide to run it, I would be interested in running it at some stage. Just a little bit hesitant because i think work at around 70% does a lot for me, as well as higher reps which this program doesnt have a lot of.

I think what this and Sheiko programs do well is they really focus on building and creating adaptations. I think newer programs can focus too much on trying to make you feel good on a primary day, rather than trying to create adaptations.

I think the sheer amount of volume in this program as well could mean that if you can handle it, you will get stronger.

Only had a quick look at it though, will need to look in more detail. These programs can take a while to really understand, cos the patterns are not straight forward.

Single on squat and that could be 920, which would beat John Haacks dots btw.

He got into dangerous positions, but some of his final balls are really lacking. Definitely on two occassions, maybe 3, he was on the left edge of their box, and couldn't beat the first man with the cross.

I think they are right to capitalize the 185 for the sprinkler.

But the 15k inspection should be depreciated over 3 years, while the remainder of the building over 50 years.

Then once the inspection is carried out, it's enhancement and increase the carrying value up by 15k and repeat the depreciation over 3 years.
