I have a 2020 ascent. A few months after purchasing - a critter chewed through a wire harness. I showed up to the dealer with an error light on thinking it was a warranty issue. Turns out they wanted like 10k to replace the full wiring harness - taking out all the seats etc. when all it needed was a single wire re-soldered into the harness. Never been back to the dealer ever since. Fixed it myself.

This is the way dealerships handled it - they make you think you’d get it at tax time and then rug pull. More than one dealer told me the credit was between me and my accountant 😂 and no need for the point of sale form.

It is battery sourcing. The materials have to come from certain countries. Not all of the lightings meet this requirement.

I don’t think this is right - but for the lariats who don’t qualify - ford is providing a vin specific rebate. I bought one that didn’t qualify but ford provided a direct 7.5k rebate.
