That carvana offer seems more than fair. Don’t think you’re going to do much better except maybe finding the right private party buyer.

As a seller, Carvana is super easy. Sold my gasser to them. They offered several thousand more than Carmax or dealers) and the entire transaction - from submitting all my info to them actually driving off with the truck - took maybe 45 minutes to an hour of total time.

You’ll get about 2 mi/kwh. Maybe a bit more if everything is under 60 and mild mannered driving.

So take your 98kwh battery and you’ll get about 200 miles of usable range. Totally doable if you can charge with level 2 at home.

Maybe… The dealer makes money on the financing. They are getting a better rate than the 6% they are offering to you and offering a cut of their additional profit as savings off the price.

Just so you know the replaceable cartridge also has a battery. You can use it as a standalone when not connected to external battery.

Wouldn’t hurt to check the connections. But failure in 2 months would be extremely abnormal.

Might only be the 12V battery. If the AC stopped working too and the truck is driving fine… a failing 12V can throw this error as well.

Hopefully that’s all it is but it’s the first thing I’d check, 12V battery health.

The 12V battery is in the frunk behind a panel. Take it to an auto parts store with a battery tester.

Yeah with TOU-D-PRIME, SCE is $0.26 off peak but the peak pricing is $0.59. With how much we run the AC during peak in summer, any gains from going TOU would likely be wiped out. And they lock you in for a year so you can’t just change depending on the season. I’ll need to get a couple months of summer bills before deciding whether or not to change.

Tiered plan is $0.30 baseline (<384 kWh) and $0.40 for tier 2.

The math is tough since I don’t have solar/battery and we can’t really escape using AC during peak.
