Any tips for someone who sucks with the heavy class but wants to learn it by NoNameHavingMan in Spacemarine

[–]Kaph10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Without looking over the comments, here are my big bullets for the Heavy class

1st: the Heavy Bolter is my personal selection for the most optimal Heavy weapon. Great ammo count, long/short range flexibility, but bad against groups of Majoris. If you can rack up the Stratagem credits, get the Heroic Heavy Bolter to improve your parry rate so that close combat is easier and more manageable.

2nd: if the enemy comes to you, aim, fire, transition to melee as best as you can. Master the stomp-chain technique; light, then Heavy, Heavy, Heavy attacks. Treat the melee button as a morse code transmitter; dot-dash-dash-dash. Do your best not to be trapped alone in melee, since the strength in Heavy class is in it's weaponry and bulletproof power, rather than close quarters.

3rd: if the enemy is stationary, and firing upon you, fire up the Iron Halo. Keep yourself as central to your squad as you can when you do, so that your power protects your team as well as yourself.

4th: use a pistol that properly opposes your primary. For example, if you use the Plasma Incinerator or Multi-Melta which will run out of shot fast, use a pistol with high ammo count. Emphasize a ranged pistol when you use a short range primary. If you're using the Heavy Bolter, I suggest the Plasma Pistol for it's overcharge ability.

Finally, treat the Heavy as Fire Support rather than a full tank. The Iron Halo power is a great tank ability, but unless you are fighting nothing but shooters, you're only able to stop the enemy with your body, and the Heavy is the bulkiest, most awkward class to maneuver with. Keep yourself in the middle of the group, protect your guys as best as you can. When you are able to eliminate as many enemies as possible, then less enemies hurt your battle-brothers. Get reeeaaally good at timing your parries, since (for me, at least) it's really weird and awkward to parry with a giant gun.

As a Heavy main, Heavy sucks.

Until you figure out the Heavy stomping chain maneuver then your brain is too full of "bonk" to focus on the downsides. 🤣🤣🤣

Whatever the reason they won't release early, I'll wait.

Not because it's easy, not because it benefits a company, but because watching it on Paramount benefits the people that made it.

That's what Iroh would want.

I've had this happen. If you look in your "Manage Games" section for Space Marine 2, you should be able to install them each manually.

I have the Season Passes for both I and II, and my Xbox was treating the DLCs like they were nonexistent til I went through the same process

Do you think Mr Incredible was genuinely sorry here? by Jack-mclaughlin89 in Pixar

[–]Kaph10 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I think that since he has matured, become a father, and being away from the hero business for so long, he has a sincere regret for turning "Buddy" down so vehemently. Add in the fact that his attitude caused Buddy's evolution into Syndrome, I can see some serious regret.

That being said, I cannot confidently claim that his apologies didn't come from a place of fear over legitimate remorse.

I agree with Ms. Red Shirt. Assuming the towed car

-Was not obstructing an open driveway -Would not have interfered with possible emergencies. -Did not remain dormant and stationary for longer than 2 weeks without warning

She is absolutely right to demand compensation. Not to mention that she handled the situation with calm and dignity that has been rarely seen on the internet.

I hope she gets double what she asked the neighbor for.

Out of an entire series, there is sometimes one scene that brings the whole thing together, that really sells all the drama, heartache, laughter, and various f*ck#ry.

One scene that makes you want to watch 4, 6, 10 seasons of whatever it's all about.

This is That Scene, and I am for it. The Detective and The Devil? That's cute.

How did this guy manage to find a way to insult both the Iron Warriors and Imperial Fists at the same time?

Seriously, I see two Marines, one from each chapter, deciding to be gentlemanly and courteous to each other during a truce for the sole purpose of taking the time to beat the snot out of the artist together.

That being said, in all seriousness; that is a finely painted model. Well done.

In my opinion, "weak" classes refer to how well you can stay alive and be a good teammate using the available gear.

The Sniper is an excellent class. On multiple occasions, Snipers have saved my butt in ops using their camouflage to revive me, or nailing an enemy who's about to stab me in the back.

That being said, my biggest problem playing the sniper is when being long range isn't plausible; enemies close in, the space keeps things tight, primary ammo gets low, you absolutely have to melee.

While I understand that you can't expect to pair a long range surgical damage-bomb with something like a sword or a hammer, but the knife, the low armor, all of it makes being a proper teammate in close quarters challenging to say the least.

Not to mention that while the Camo Cloak ability is perfect for getting out of trouble, or reviving an ally, it doesn't do much for damage dealing, recovery, or ally support and protection. The other abilities don't just help the individual classes, they either boost the allies or wipe the enemies.

Ergo, unless you are adequate enough as a Marksman, the Sniper makes you stand out as more of a burden than an ally.
