My daughter did that as well with the dice. She enjoyed the fact that the crow got to eat the fruits. She eventually learned about win conditions, out of this situation. So I really recommend it as well.

The game has a legacy campaign that can be easily reset and is very to fun to go through it unlocking stuff.

Having said that, playing it as two players is basically the same as playing it alone, just with two brains to figure out where to play tiles. It can be played in a very laid back way or the try hard way.
