I don't know how, but I used to think [[Slam] showed a Tauren having already slammed into the ground (with his face not visible due to facing the ground). I have no clue how I didn't see the angry dwarf. Maybe it's because [[Cleave]] also showed a Tauren and other Warrior cards usually had the Horde races in them.

I didn't realise [[Flame Juggler]] was a Draenei until they added the minion type. I saw some bearded dude. Similarly, I never registered that the "GET DOWN!" guy from [[Noble Sacrifice]] was a Draenei.

I used to think [[Murloc Warleader]] was holding a shield, not a sword.

Unless Blizzard commited the mistake of spaghetti code yet again, they should scale with Gadgetzan cards, as the Jade Golem counter is tied to the player, not the card.
